"Enjoy your first taste of battle?" Jamie asks as we head to our room, the twins stay in a separate room now, they stay with the other children.
"Is it bad if I say I didn't understand one word of what was happening in there?" I say and he laughs.
"I barely ever do either." He says as we get to our room.
"You were amazing, you were in your element." I say and he smiles.
"I was just showing off, trying to look wise in-front of you." He says with a glimmer in his eye.
"I'm flattered." I say smirking at him.
"This might be our last night on earth." He says, looking into my eyes.
"Let's make it worth it." I say and he smirks. He starts to kiss me, it felt hungry, ravenous. I couldn't contain myself. I quickly start to pull at his clothes, tearing off any part I could feel, he does the same to my dress. I quickly find that both of us are naked, naked and hungry for a taste of eachother, I allow myself to feed the beast inside me, our bodies collide and topple onto the bed, I feel his hands trace my body, memorising each part of it. His hands reach my face and he pulls it forward, kissing me softly, I didn't want to take it slow, I deepen the kiss, he understands and starts to move his lips down my body, he kisses my jawline, my chin, my neck, my collarbone, he doesn't stop until he is at my breasts, he takes the whole thing in his hand and he devoured it, kissing it like there isn't anything else to kiss in the whole world, his golden hand isn't doing much, it's cold, quite annoying, it's tracing circles on my leg. I chose to ignore it. He continues to go down my body, kissing my stomach, going lower and lower and lower. He stops at the bottom of my stomach, planting kisses on my hips, I watch as he looks up at me, I nod as he gets up and pins my hands down, he's ontop of me, positioning himself inside me, I can feel his breath on my cheek, the coldness of the steel on my arms, my arm is going to bruise in the morning. I watch as he thrusts himself inside me, it's fast, like he can't wait to be inside, it's cute. I watch his face during this moment, he looks so involved, he is so focused on this moment, it's amazing. I can feel him going hard inside me, I can feel the intensity of it, I feel it grow, I watch as his face screws up and he finishes, he looks relieved, like he had been holding it for a while. He collapses next to me.
"That was a good way to spend my final night alive." I say smiling, he props himself on his elbows.
"I want every night to be like tonight." He says before getting up.
"Let's have some fun, drink some wine." He says and I roll my eyes.We enter the great hall, assuming it was empty. Until we see a figure sitting near the fire.
"Come for a drink too?" The voice says, it's Tyrion
"Might be our last night in the world, it the wine any good?" I say sitting next to him as Jamie tosses me a bottle.
"It's the worst thing I've ever tasted." He says and I laugh, sipping on the wine, he was right it's awful. For several minutes we just sit in silence, taking in eachothers company.
"I wish father was here." Tyrion suddenly says, Jamie looks shocked.
"I would love to see the look on his face when he realizes his two sons are about to die defending Winterfell." He says, Jamie snorts out a laugh.
"That would be something to see." Jamie says and I laugh too.
"I remember the first time we were here, the first time I saw this hall." Tyrion starts.
"Mm." Jamie replies.
"You were a golden lion. I was a drunken whore-monger. It was all so simple." Tyrion says, I feel like I shouldn't be in this conversation
"It wasn't so simple. I was sleeping with my sister and you had one friend in the world who was sleeping with his sister." Jamie says, I laugh and so does Tyrion.
"I was speaking in relative terms." He says
"The last time I was here, I think I was sleeping with Jon and I'm pretty sure I watched you throw bran out of a window." I say and they all laugh.
"We were speaking relatively." Jamie says, whatever he said to bran worked.
"Do you miss it?" Jamie suddenly blurts out.
"Of course I miss it." Tyrion replies, i don't think Jamie was asking him.
"Well, my golden lion days are done, but whore-mongering is still an option for you." Jamie says, letting the question go.
"It's not. Things would be easier if it were." Tyrion replies, before raising a glass.
"The perils of self-betterment." He says and we all raise our cups to drink. I watch as Jamie stops himself and looks at the door. Brianne and Podrick walk in. Jamie suddenly shoots up.
"Oh! My lady." Jamie says, why is he acting weird?
"Oh, we didn't mean to interrupt. We were just looking for somewhere warm to" Brianne starts.
"To contemplate your imminent death. You've come to the right place. You want some of this? It's not bad. It's not good either." I say as Tyrion walks over to the wine table. Podrick follows.
"Thank you, milord." He says as Tyrion hands him a cup.
"I don't think that's wise." Brianne says, Podrick turns to look at her.
"The battle might start at any moment." She starts, but then she reconsiders.
"Half cup." She says and Tyrion starts to pour Podrick a drink, it wasn't a half cup. It was even more than a full cup. He didn't stop pouring till it overflowed.
"And you?" He says, smirking slightly.
"No, thank you. I should try and get some sleep." She says, i stare at her in disbelief.
"You really think any of us are going to sleep tonight? Join us." Jamie says pulling a chair up next to him.
"All right. Just a bit." She says sitting down as Tyrion hands her a drink. Podrick brings a chair over when the door opens again. It's Davos and Tormund.
"Well, what do we have here?" Davos says as he enters.
"Ser Davos, join us." I say raising a glass to him, he shakes his head.
"No, not for me, thanks. Came here for this." He says standing infront of the fire
"I figured I could wait to die freezing my balls off out there or wait to die nice and warm in here." He says and I laugh. Tormund walks up to Brianne, it's kinda cute how much he likes her, and how much she despises him.
"It could be our last night in this world, you know." He says, Jamie looks up at him.
"Yes, well, I'm glad you're here." She starts, before realising what she said.
"Here fighting with us. Glad you survived Eastwatch." She says, why is she so eager to hate him?
"Would you like a drink?" I ask, trying to break the silence.
"Brought my own." He says raising a horn, his drinking horn they say it's called.
"They call you "King Killer."" He says turning to Jamie, he looks uncomfortable.
"I'm sure someone does." He says and I smile at his sarcasm.
"They call me "Giantsbane." Want to know why?" He says, Jamie sighs and Tormund grabs a chair and sits on it facing backwards to Jamie and Brianne.
"I killed a giant when I was ten. Then I climbed right into bed with his wife." He says, I look at him and see that Davos is looking at him with the same expression.
"When she woke up, you know what she did? Suckled me at her teat for three months. Thought I was her baby. That's how I got so strong. Giant's milk." He says, before raising the horn to his mouth and drinking it, half of it going down his front, we're all staring.
"Maybe I will have that drink." Davos says, breaking the silence in the room.
"It's strange, isn't it? Almost everyone here's fought the Starks at one time or another. And here we are in their castle, ready to defend it. Together." Tyrion says, I've never fought the Starks. For a time, I was a stark.
"At least we'll die with honor." Brianne says weakly, I've never seen her think she's going to die.
"I think we might live." Tyrion says, I start laughing, followed by Davos and Podrick.
"I-I do. How many battles have we survived between us? Ser Davos Seaworth. Survivor of both the Blackwater and the Battle of the Bastards." Tyrion says, why is he pleasing his case?
"All without a shred of combat ability." Davos replies.
"Mm. Ser Jaime Lannister, fabled hero of the Siege of Pyke." Tyrion continues, Jamie doesn't look impressed.
"Fabled loser of the Battle of Whispering Wood." He replies, before grabbing himself another drink.
"Hear, hear! Ser Brienne of Tarth. Defeated the Hound in-Pardon me, Lady Brienne." Tyrion continues, Tormund looks shocked.
"She's not a ser? You're not a knight?" He says, Brianne looks deflated.
"Women can't be knights." She says.
"Why not?"
"Tradition."
"Fuck tradition."
"I don't even want to be a knight." We all stare at her, she has always wanted to be a knight.
"I'm no king. But if I were, I'd knight you ten times over." Tormund says, he is truly in love with her.
"You don't need a king. Any knight can make another knight." Jamie says finally coming back with a cup of wine.
"I'll prove it." He says handing me the cup and taking his sword out.
"Kneel, Lady Brienne." He says, she scoffs.
"Do you want to be a knight or not? Kneel." He says, I watch as she looks at Podrick, who nods at her. She stands up and kneels before him. Me and Tourmund both stand up, Tyrion joins. I watch as Jamie places the sword on her right shoulder.
"In the name of the Warrior, I charge you to be brave." He says before raising it over her head and placing it on her left shoulder.
"In the name of the Father, I charge you to be just." He says placing the sword on her right shoulder again.
"In the name of the Mother, I charge you to defend the innocent." He lowers the sword.
"Arise, Brienne of Tarth a knight of the Seven Kingdoms." He says, Brianne rises, pride written all on her face. I start clapping and everyone else joins in.
"Ser Brienne of Tarth! Knight of the Seven Kingdoms!" I say raising my glass, she smiles at me, tears of joy in her eyes. I've never seen her happier.
