It was morning when I finally came to my senses. I got dressed and ran outside. Everyone has left for king's landing. I wondered if Jamie left in the night. For Cersei. I stand at the top of the courtyard. I see Jamie. He sees me. He nods. I come running down.
"Your not leaving without me." I whisper to him
"The twins stay here." He says and I nod.
"I'll get horses, you say goodbye." He says coldly, not forgetting last night.
"Robb!" I say going over to the training grounds.
"Mum!" He says hugging me.
"Mummy is going away for a while with daddy. Aunt sansa will take care of you ok?" I say and he nods.
"Are you going to die?" He asks.
"No I'll never die." I say and he smiles.
"No more stealing." I say and he laughs.
"Where's your sister?" I ask, he points to the courtyard, where she is looking at the sky on Brianne's shoulder.
"Alicent get down." I say as I approach. Brianne looks scared.
"Your presence is not needed," I say to Brianne. Who leaves quickly.
"Alicent, mummy and daddy are going away for a while." I say and she hugs me.
"Your staying here with Aunt Sansa!" I say, she smiles.
"I like sansa, she teaches me stuff." She says and I hug her tightly.
"Bye mummy!" She says running away, off to find Sansa. As I approach Sansa, she's talking to Jamie.
"What's happened?" I ask.
"Euron Greyjoy ambushed Queen Daenerys and her fleet. One of the dragons was killed, several ships destroyed, Missandei captured." Sansa says to me.
"I always wanted to be there when they execute your sister. Seems like I won't get the chance." Sansa says before hugging me.
"I don't know what happened last night, but the twins are fine here, I promise." She whispers, i nod.
"The horse is ready." Jamie whispers to me. As we go to the courtyard. He looks coldly at me.
"Get on." He says, I jump on quickly.
"Let's go." He says to me as we ride out of Winterfell.
The ride wasn't too bad. We barely spoke the first night.
"Why her?" I ask as we get closer to kings landing.
"I don't know." He replies.
"Why him?" He asks.
"I don't know. I knew he would make you the most angry. It felt right in the moment. I was so hurt. I never wanted to ruin us." I say back, he stares at me intently.
"I was drunk, I was scared. I was jealous." He replies as we jump off our horses, we're here.We see armies in-front of us. Daenerys army, they haven't spotted us. I watch as Cersei sits on the wall. Missandei in chains. I couldn't hear what they were saying. But I saw Missandei. I saw her head fall to the ground. I saw Greyworm, I saw his face screw up. He loved her. I saw Daenerys, I saw the rage in her face. We had to hide.
I had no idea where Daenerys and her army went. I guessed Dragonstone. It didn't take long before we were captured. We were tied to a pole in a tent, I didn't know if we were in Dragonstone or King's landing. We were guarded all hours. I hated it.
"How did they find you?" A voice says entering the tent. Tyrion.
"He didn't want to take off the stupid golden hand." I say and Tyrion laughs as Jamie holds it up.
"Cersei once called me the stupidest Lannister." Jamie says, looking down at his feet.
"Why are you going back to her? Your soon to be wife is right there!" Tyrion says, I shake my head.
"We're not going to her." I say.
"Why are you here then?" Tyrion says.
"I'm not sure. I just went where Jamie went." I say looking at my feet. I didn't want to hear it.
"She's going to die. Unless you can convince her to change her course of action." Tyrion says, why is he trying to help her v
"Difficult to do from here." Jamie says before holding up a pair of keys.
"When have I ever been able to convince Cersei of anything?" Jamie says as Tyrion unchains him.
"Try. If not for yourself, if not for her, then for every one of the million people in that city, innocent or otherwise." He says
"To be honest, I never really cared much for them. Innocent or otherwise." Jamie says, uncuffing me.
"Look I know why your here Roslyn. I know Jamie doesn't know why you are." Tyrion says, i stare at him.
"If Daenerys falls, I want you." He says, Jamie stares at me.
"So it wasn't just an idea, you truly want this?" He says to me.
"The city will fall tomorrow. We can't stop it. I want a seat at the table. I can make Robb king, Alicent Queen. Cersei won't live, Daenerys most likely. How long will she last till she becomes like her father?" I say.
"Escape. The two of you, together. Remember where we met, where they keep the dragon skulls, beneath the Red Keep? Take her down there. Keep following the stairways down, down as far as they'll go. You'll come out onto a beach at the foot of the keep. A dinghy will be waiting for you. Sail out of the bay. If the winds are kind, you'll make it to Pentos. Give Cersei a new life. She's my sister, you can ride back get married." Tyrion says.
"Sail right past the Iron Fleet and into a new life? Sounds a lot less likely than Cersei winning this war" Jamie starts.
"There won't be an Iron Fleet for much longer. Do it. If you don't, you'll never see Cersei again." Jamie considers
"You have my word." Jamie says.
"If it works, give the order to ring all the bells in King's Landing and open the gates. That will be our signal that the city has surrendered." Tyrion says.
"I'll try."
"Where do I fit into all of this? Jamie will die, all for Cersei? I get she is your sister but Jamie won't be able to return from Pentos. You are setting me up!" I say to Tyrion, pinning him against the wall.
"I may be on your side, Jon is a Targaryen, everyone is on his side now. Daenerys is having a crisis. She just executed Varys. I may be next. She won't last long. Jon doesn't want it. You want it. I want you to hide. Try and live. You shall have the crown." Tyrion says, I unleash him from my grasp.
"Where do I hide?" I ask, he grabs me.
"Go with Jamie. Help him ring the bell. That is the surrender. You will be safe. He will leave and save Cersei. You will go to gates of king's landing. You shall greet Daenerys at the gate. Say whatever you can. Apologise for Jon." He says and I nod.
"Goodbye Tyrion." I say and he nods.
