"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!"

"Oh." Isagi said, looking at his tightened fist, 'I won...'

"Ahh, shit! You kiddin' me?!" Raichi exclaimed, holding scissors.

"Then, just like we agreed earlier, Isagi can pick the position he wants. And the rest of us follow by rank." Kuon said.

"Then I'll...be the forward!" The dark blue haired male said.

"The first selection will be a round-robin involving all five teams inside this stratum." Ego said, making everyone look at the screen, "Only the top two highest-positioned teams at the end of all 10 matches will qualify. And the worst three will be eliminated. Meaning, the members of those teams will be immediately expelled from Blue Lock. And they will lose the right to play for Japan's National Team."

"However! For those three teams, there is a way to avoid elimination. That is, to be the player who has scored the most goals for their team by the selection's end. This is a system with the purpose...of saving only the best scorer from each eliminated team. Players within a team will be ranked according to their number of goals scored, but "fair play" will be accounted for in the system."

"Senpai..." He muttered, before his eyes shined brightly, "You must be younger than all of us then!"

"I looked through all your files and almost everyone is older than me." She softly said, before looking at him, "So, please take care of me, senpai."

He grinned and pat her head, "Of course! Nothing shall harm my little kohai~!"

"Kuroko-chan? I have a question." Kuon spoke up, making them look at him, "How come you have low presence?"

"Well, I'm very quiet. Once someone doesn't pay attention to me, they forget that I'm even there. I got used to it over the years. So it's a surprise when someone does notice my twin brother and I. Plus, Kuro means black...hinting that I'm just a shadow to everyone."

"Oh? You have a twin brother?"

"Hm. He specializes more in basketball, while I specialize in football. I know a bit of basketball, but I'm very bad at it." She said, rubbing the back of her neck.
