Chapter 5

-3rd POV-

"I'll bait in all the defenders I can, then pass straight to (N/n)-chan where they'll be less focused. And you'll pick it up, charge ahead, and shoot." Bachira said, lifting his jersey to wipe his sweat, "Run for your life, Isagi. (N/n)-chan. Get in front of the goal."

"Okay, Bachira!"

"Got it, senpai."

The two said, before the sound of a whistle was heard from the intercom, making (Y/n) instantly pass to Bachira, who passed it to Isagi.

I'll score a score...!

'Get in front...of the goal...' The dark blue haired male thought, as he ran.

"Isagi?!" Kuon exclaimed, which made Barou avert his eyes.

'Of course, it's impossible to recover from 0-5 with only 3 minutes on the clock...But whoever manages to score a goal...might become what this team needs...!'

That's what it means to become a foundation! For the sake of this team...

"Surround him!"

"They've got no team-work!"

The opposing team said, surrounding the black with under-lights haired male.

Bachira, Kuroko-chan and I have to give it a shot! For the sake of winning our next game...

"Here, Isagi..." Bachira mumbled, before kicking it towards (Y/n), who caught the ball.

All of them were confused on who he was sending it to, before their eyes widen, seeing it change trajectory mid-air.

"Wha—?!"

"Did it just curve mid-air?"

"Wait, didn't they switch in someone?"

"Yeah, but I don't see them."

(Y/n) had used her misdirection kicking the ball towards Isagi, seeing it come towards her. She didn't want to hold on to the too ball long, or else everyone will notice her, and she didn't want that since Team Z needed to win a point.

We'll be Team Z's guiding light!

'It's here!' The dark blue haired male thought, before his foot caught the ball, "Perfect!" He exclaimed.

"Yes!" Bachira exclaimed.

'Nice pass, Kuroko-chan.' He thought, as he ran forward towards the goal.

Now it's a 1 on 1...!

'I'll shoot!'

"Number 11, you dare stand before me?" A voice said, shocking him, seeing Barou, "Only I am the one true king. Bow down, you peasant." 

'Barou?! Why's he here?! Our plan was that predictable...?! What can I do?! Retreat? If I'm up against him...I might mess up, right?!'

"Isagi-senpai." A soft voice called out, making his eyes widen.

'Kuroko-chan! Right, she's in our team!' He thought, averting his eyes towards her, before passing the ball to her, since she was close to the goal.

(Y/n) nodded, before spinning, ball close to her foot, before staring at the goal in front of her. She let out a small sigh.

"Go, (N/n)-chan!" Bachira exclaimed.

Barou turned to the girl, making his eyes widen slightly, not having seen her at all. He was about to head towards her, but the girl kicked the ball with a strong force, making it seem like a blue streak was behind it.
