Chapter 11

-3rd POV-

(Y/n) watched the three play against each other, before her attention went to Anri, who brought some tea for her, "Thank you, Anri-nee."

The said female smiled at her, before her look was gentle, "Are you feeling all right? I heard that you fainted." She softly said.

The girl blinked at her, "Yes, I'm all right. It was just stress. Don't worry about it."

She looked at the male and pouted, "Ego-san! You're overworking (Y/n)-chan! Give her lighter work!"

Ego didn't look away from the monitors, but was listening on to the conversation, "She was given the option to lay low for a bit, but Kuroko-chan decided to work. This is her decision, not ours." He said.

The light blue haired girl nodded, before watching the monitors again and taking notes.

The brown haired woman sighed and nodded, "Hai." She muttered, before looking at the other girl, "If you ever feel tired, don't be afraid to ask if you can go lay down. I'll take over if you do so you don't have to worry about being behind."

She gently smiled at her, "Thank you. I'll be sure to keep it in mind, Anri-nee." She softly said.

"Yep, I see it." Nagi said, before kicking the ball.

"Eh?" Said Kunigami, who was blocking Barou.

"What?!" Barou exclaimed, seeing where the ball was heading.

'Seriously?!' He thought.

From the very start...?! In order for Isagi himself to get in front of the goal. Barou...was bait!

Isagi ran forward, as his teammate was furious about the set-up.

No matter how much you try to understand other people's hearts...People...aren't able to change others! And that's why every time...you have to change yourself. In order to change the world if nothing's going how you want it...That's surely the only way! If I can't see the light leading to a goal...Then I have to become that light!

The opposing team could only watch with widen eyes as the dark blue haired male reeled his leg back to kick the ball.

Watch, Barou! This is me "adapting" to you!

The black haired male could only stand there, eyes widen.

The darkness that you created on this field...

Isagi kicked the ball.

I'll devour it. And turn it into light!

The ball went passed the blue lock man, making the goal as Barou's eyes dilated.

The teen tightened his fist, "Alright!" He cheered.

"What...the heck..." Chigiri muttered.

"Did he plan...all of that...?" Kunigami said.

Reo could only watch the male.

This is...Isagi Yoichi...The egoist that Nagi Seishiro was chasing!

Nagi and Isagi collided in a high-five. 

"Alright, time to catch up." The white haired male said.

"Yeah." The male said, before looking at the other male, "And Barou..."

The said male looked at him.

"You can keep playing like always. Just don't drag us down."

"...Huh?"
