Chapter 6

-3rd POV-

Team V won again, but either way, (Y/n) had to move on to the next team. She unfortunately didn't play since they had pretty good players score most of the goals, which shocked her, since their plays were amazing. She did takes notes for Ego though.

The girl bowed to the team, "Thank you for having me. Wish you all luck, senpais." She said.

Reo grinned and pat her head, "Come by anytime, Kuroko-chan!"

The girl nodded, "Hai, Mikage-senpai. I'll try my best when I'm not busy."

He blinked a bit, "You make me sound old just from using my last name...It's fine to use my first name."

"Oh. Then, Reo-senpai..." She said to herself, nodding a bit, and looked at the male, "If you're allowing me to use your first name, then it's fine to use mine too."

He smiled, "Hai, (Y/n)-chan!"

The light blue haired girl blinked when she felt pressure on her head, making her look up and see Nagi, who had his head leaning on hers, "Nagi-senpai..."

"Do you have to go, (Y/n)-chan?" He said, before yawning.

"I have to, senpai. I have to watch every other team."

The male pouted a bit, "Fine. But do visit. I wanna play more games with you." He said, before lifting his head and patting her head.

Zantetsu walked up and bowed at the girl, "Glad we had you as our manager, Kuroko-san. Sorry, you couldn't play in the field."

(Y/n) waved her hand a bit, "It's okay. Hopefully the next team lets me play." She said, before saying her byes to the rest of the team, "See you for the next selection, senpais." She said, and walked out.

Nagi kept pouting, "I already miss (Y/n)-chan." He said.

The purple haired male sighed, "You just met her. You'll see her soon again." He said, walking off, his friend following.

"In order to create the greatest striker in the world, capable of leading Japan to its first world cup...We founded "Blue Lock", a project taking 300 of our best High-Schoolers into our facility to cultivate their talents...It's been a while since we announced that officially at the JFA press conference, but..." Anri trailed off, picking up Ego's clothes and putting them on the hamper, "How is it progressing so far, Ego?"

The said male looked at her as he dumped water from his ramen packet, into the sink, "Have a bit more patience, Anri. We are still in the honeymoon phase now..." He said, before walking off to the small table and sitting to eat.

"You're really like this stuff, huh, Mr. Ego...Do you survive exclusively on instant ramen and yakisoba?" She picked up the empty ramen cups, "And you don't even clean up after..." She mumbled.

"It takes me back...to my student years. I had a strict diet then, and was never allowed to enjoy these things..." He opened a mayo packet and put it on the noodles, "bit of mayo..." He muttered, "So nowadays, it's all I want to eat."

"And how does that keep you from cleaning and washing your dishes?! I swear!"

"Am I not simply fulfilling my duties to the extent I must? That is, anything unrelated to football is not required by our contract."

The female stayed quiet, before speaking, "...Well? And how is all that going...? Blue Lock's first selection, I mean." She said, 'I wish (Y/n)-chan was here since she knows more about this than I do...' She thought, sighing a bit.

"Hmm." He hummed a bit, "It's going, all right. It's alright." He said, flicking the packet, "Just watch. We are nearly at the spicy part..." He opened the small packet and dumped the contents inside.
