"You WHAT?!"

Yuri felt the blood drain from his cheeks as he heard the news that a new person would be introduced to the Forger family. Better yet, this person was taking the job that was originally his.

"Mhm! Isn't it exciting, Yuri?" Yor spoke obliviously, twirling the phone line between her slender fingers. "I'm so happy for Miss Anya and Loid-San! This tutor is gonna be a huge relief for them!"

Loidy, Loidy, Loidy. He couldn't stand hearing about Loidy. Why won't "Loidy" just drop dead already?

"Uh, yeah. I'm sure," he said through gritted teeth, his hand gripping the phone so hard he could hear the plastic begin to crack. Why did this tutor get to impress Yor instead of him? It wasn't fair, he was just bluffing when he said it was impossible to tutor Anya!

"Oh, speaking of, I want you to come meet her when she comes to introduce herself! She's gonna be a big part of our life now, not to mention Anya's been asking about her Unkie," Yor giggled at the last part, a fond smile resting on her face as she recalled her brother and daughter's interaction from the last time they were together.

Yuri could only suck his teeth in as he took in her words. He couldn't care less about the enemy's child.

"That sounds great, big sis! I'll make sure I'm there! I love you~" He sang, before he slammed the phone down into its holster. The impact caused the wires in it to snap and break, electricity sparking as smoke started to rise from the now almost unrecognizable house phone.

His eyes turned to slits as pure anger and frustration devoured him, encasing him in a cell of his own paranoia and jealousy. He dug his fingernails into his hands as he clenched his fists together, blood dripping from the deep wounds his nails made in his palms.

It wasn't fair.

The sound of a doorbell echoed throughout the Forger household, everyone lifting their heads up from their current activities as they looked around to see who would answer it.

"I'll get it!" A certain telepath announced, quickly running over to door before her collar was grabbed and she was yanked back, her heels digging into the ground as she wailed.

"Anya, it's rude for you to answer the door since it's her first time visiting. Let me get it," Loid said, authority held in the tone of his voice.

"Oh, Loid-San. Don't be so uptight," Yor laughed, smiling warmly at the two as she pulled a pan out of the oven.

Loid turned his head to look at her for a moment, a warm smile of his own appearing on his lips for a split second before he nodded, letting go of his daughter's clothes.

"Alright Anya, you can help me meet her. Don't forget to be on your best behavior," he said, motioning for her to follow him. She grinned in victory, quickly catching up to her Papa as she hid behind him while he opened the door to greet their new guest.

There she stood, the girl who was going to save Anya's future, in all her glory. She was out of her school uniform as of currently, but she still wore a cute outfit that complimented her nicely.

Loid's eyes widened, but his face quickly returned back to normal, opening the door wider as he gave her a close-eyed smile.

"Ah, Miss! Please, come in," he said, taking her coat from her.
