Mission 5

"The zoo!"

Everyone wore bright smiles on their faces as they took in the sight before them. People and families came in streams down the walkway, all wearing happy expressions as they talked with one another. Beautiful birds flew overhead, street vendors selling popcorn, soda, peanuts, etc. On the sides of the sidewalk were employees holding different kind of exotic animals, civilians gathering around them as they told then fun facts about said creature.

Yor in particular was extremely excited about the scene. Her smile was so big and her nose had crinkled cutely, her hands clasped in front of her chest.

"It's so beautiful!" She marveled, eyes shining.

"You seem happy," Y/N teased.

"Oh, of course I am! Look at the little animals!" She gushed.

"Haha, come here, Y/N. I have to tell you a secret," Twilight chuckled, placing his hand on his colleagues shoulder as he leaned his lips close to her ear.

"Suspect's name is Isaac Miller. Male, 5'8", short brown hair and blue eyes. Good luck," he said, giving her a brief nod before standing up to his full height.

Anya watched the two interact with big eyes, her interest immediately peaked as she heard what the target's features were.

I'm gonna help Papa and Miss Tutor kill the bad guy! she thought smugly, smirking a little as she imagined all the times she "helped" her Papa.

Yor and Yuri stared at Y/N as they awaited what the secret was. She quickly improvised, her hand shooting up to her mouth as she put on a fake-shocked expression.

"Miss Yor has never been to the zoo?!"

Immediately said woman slapped her hands onto her cheeks as she blossomed a bright red, shaking her head back in forth in embarrassment at being called out.

"L-Loid-San! Why would you tell her that?! I'm so embarrassed..." she rambled, her eyes shut tight.

Loid chuckled, placing his hand on her shoulder affectionately. "Sorry, Yor-San. I couldn't help myself."

Yuri twitched his brow in annoyance, huffing loudly before shoving his hands in his pockets and walking ahead of the group.

"Oi, Yuriri! Wait up!" A certain tutor girl made her voice known as she yelled out to him, waving her hand in the air as her other hand held Anya's.

"What do you want, Tutor?" He grumbled, pouting a bit. He wasn't even trying to play nice anymore.

"Aw, don't have such a baby face. Anya wanted to hang with her Unkie," she gestured down towards the small girl, who nodded absentmindedly in response.

"Yeah, my Unkie."

Yuri's eyes flickered from the tutor, to Anya, and back to his big sis and Loidy. He took notice of how the two smiled and laughed with one another, their bodies relaxed as they discussed their week at work and how things were going.

It made him so jealous he couldn't bear it.

"F-Fine, whatever! Let's go look at some animals, or something..." he mumbled shyly, allowing Anya to run up and stand beside him as the three took off.

Penguins, monkeys, giraffes, they spent all day touring all the different sights and enclosures of each animal. The sky was a bright blue and the temperature was just right, not too hot and not too cold. Everyone was enjoying their time.

Loid's favorite enclosure was the penguins. He thinks they're cute.

Yor's favorite enclosure was the butterfly garden. She had said "gentle, sensitive creatures, unlike myself" which had caused Yuri to throw a fit.
