Grell was already in the room, looking bored out of his mind. When he saw me, his eyes brightened. "Luce! Okay, I know exactly what's going to happen. All you have to do is- OW! WIIIIILLLLLL! THAT HURT!" He was whacked by William. William sighed.
"I'll instruct her if you don't mind." I smirked, saying, "Aw, are you fighting over me?" I could have sworn I saw the slightest blush on William's face when I said that.
"Of course not! I simply would like this to be over quickly! And with as little red as possible." William led me to go sit in a chair and I did, bored already. "Close your eyes." I did. "Focus," William ordered, kneeling in front of me. "Find your center, then imagine what you'll be doing here." I did exactly that. I imagined having a weapon and doing as I heard William do. My weapon was the head of a sickle, but with an iron chain connected to it instead of a pole. It had two sickles attached to the chain. "Now, imagine a weapon in your mind." Done. "Imagine it in your hands, feel the weight of it settle in your hands. Then-" He stopped. Open your eyes, Lucille." I did.
"Woah.. Is this- Did I just-" I cut myself off. The exact weapon I had described was there in my hands. I was excited. "I have a scythe! This is fantastic!" I was smiling. Grell looked at my scythe and grinned. William didn't look agitated anymore. Not happy either, but not agitated.
"You did that sooner than expected. Let me see it," William ordered. I gave it to him, still excited. "Interesting... It's rare." He handed it back to me and I held both sickles, grinning.
Ronald ran in, yelling, "Wiiiiiiilllll! They're saying the new girl needs to go on a harvest!" William looked shocked momentarily then back to serious.
"So quickly?" William sighed, turning to me. "Go on then." I looked at him. "Yes?"
"Shouldn't I be given instructions? Who the person is? Where they are?" William sighed again.
"They are leaving a pub(A/N is that right? should I be saying pub? *shrug*), and there are two men you must harvest. One dies in a car crash, the other is robbed and shot. Now, if you feel you must bring another Reaper, feel free to. The pub is close to your home." That's all William said before he walked out, speaking to Ronald as he walked away. I turned to Grell.
"Wanna come?" Grell grinned, his chainsaw appearing in his hand. He nodded, grabbing my arm and appeared at the pub William had told us of. "Well, I'll get the car crash guy, you get the robbed guy." He nodded and took off running to where the man would be found. I followed the car, keeping to the shadows, though some people saw me.
I had a hard time following the car, as it was swerving over the road. I was getting tense and agitated. "Just crash already, you drunk," I murmur. I was now following it by running on rooftops. Finally, it crashed and I hopped down from the roof, not as hurt as I should have been. I ran quickly to the car, opening the front door. The man was already dying, I guessed I was there to put him out of his misery. I threw one half of the scythe at the man's chest, the sickle digging into his chest. These record-looking things flew out of him. I remembered William telling me about them. They were Cinematic Records. I was supposed to watch them and determine if this man should live. I watched them, deciding he should not. I pulled out a folder from my jacket and stamped "Completed" onto it.
I went to where Grell should be. Only to see Grell get impaled by Cinematic Records.
