I realized I soaked through my clothes from the rain and so was Grell. "Um, do you want some coffee or something? It may make you warm." I didn't know why I came up with some excuse for coffee. I was shivering ,too. And I wanted something to drink. Nonetheless, the red-head nodded.

"Why not? Might as well get something before I head off," he says as I start walking to the only coffee shop on this street. You'll never guess which one. Yep, Starbucks. When we walked in, I got this feeling that everyone was staring at us. Then, when I looked more carefully, I realized they were staring at Grell. He stretched his arms up, yawning. He didn't even notice the attention he was receiving. So care-free, I thought, a twinge of envy going through me. I couldn't get rid of the many cares I had no matter how hard I tried.

"Miss? What'll you have?" A girl at the counter asked, tired of people who took their pretty little time. I walked up to the counter with Grell and looked at him. He shrugged. Helpful. I sighed and looked back at the girl at the counter, saying, "Two black coffees. Small." The girl yawned and went back to make the coffees. I sat down at a table in the corner of the shop, Grell sitting right across from me. He was dripping wet and looked tired.

"This is place is so bright," he groaned, his head dropping and hitting the table. He sat that way until the coffee came by. At that point, I poked him, holding out the cup of coffee. He took it and muttered "thanks". He took a sip and I took one too, yawning. We both drank our coffees quietly until someone came up to our table.

"Hey, who are you?" Some guy had come up, asking me that question. I already knew he was going to try to flirt with me. Every guy who asked me that question in the middle of nowhere always did. I shook my head, trying to ignore him. "Aw, come on, just a little question." He reached towards me. "I just wanna-" His wrist was grabbed by Grell. Both the guy and I were shocked.

"Unless I'm imagining things, the pretty lady said no," Grell growled, his eyebrow twitching again. He let go of his wrist, taking another sip of his coffee.

"Hey! If you're gonna fight, get outta the shop!" The girl yelled, her patience gone. The guy grabbed Grell by the back of his coat's collar, pulling him up. He was glaring at him. He said, "Yeah, why don't we?" With that, he pulled Grell out of the shop. I ran outside, looking around.

"Grell! Where'd you go?!" I cried, feeling bad. I brought him into that shop, I should have been more careful. I heard yells coming from the alley Grell and I were just in. "Grell!" I ran into the dark alley, my eyes slowly adjusting. I felt the air shift as Grell brushed in front of me.

"What did I do?!" Grell was yelling at the guy. The guy came into view and looked angry.

"I was trying to flirt with her!" He yelled back. I glared at him and walked to him, my hands tight. "Um, did you-" I didn't give him the chance to finish. I punched him in the jaw, sending him to the ground. I smiled with satisfaction, then rubbed my hand.

"Ow! Punching people hurts!" I whined. Grell grinned, not looking too hurt. "Are you okay?" I walked over to him, seeing that his glasses were broken and he had a cut on his shoulder. "Oh, my God! Did he have a knife?!" Grell looked at his shoulder.

"I guess he did," Grell casually replied. I sighed and grabbed his arm. "Ow! What are you doing?!" I started dragging him towards my apartment.

"I'm going to take a look at that cut and you're not going to argue with me!" I realized how mean I sounded, and I turned around to apologize one we got into the apartment. He didn't even notice my rudeness, he was too busy whining about my tight grip. "Sorry!" I let go of his arm. I gestured towards a couch. "Go ahead and get comfy. Its too late for you to be out now."

By the time I grabbed some cloth bandages that my mom still kept around, he was laying on the couch, clearly comfy. He was too cute to get mad at. He saw me walking towards him and sat up a bit.

"Is that stuff really necessary? I'm fine, really," he said, squirming away a bit. I sighed and sat on the edge of the couch, which was hard to do because it was kind of small. I gently started to pull off his red coat and replied, "Yes, it's entirely necessary. I am not going to have you bleed on my couch." I pushed his sleeve up after I got his coat off and wrapped the cloth around the cut carefully. "Now, let me get something. I'll be right back." He nodded and I walked to my room. I got into a tank top and some pajama pants, then I grabbed two pillows and a blanket from my closet. I walked back to Grell, finding him looking at his glasses, frowning. When he heard me, he set his glasses down and waved at me. I giggled a bit and tossed the pillows and blanket at him.

"Get some sleep, Grell. I'll be in my room if you need anything." He yawned and nodded, then started getting comfy. I realized he was still in his clothes and was about to say something about pajamas when I noticed he was fine in what he was in. I smiled at him. To get to my room, I had to pass the couch, so I walked past it, ruffling his red hair as I went. He mumbled something I couldn't hear then yawned. I giggled lightly again and went to my room to sleep. It seemed perfect. Too perfect. And too quiet. Quiet was bad.
