Hunter was on his bed, sleeping soundly with his girlfriend. Until he felt something go closer to his chest. He woke up and looked down it was Willow softly crying into his chest. "Wills?" He said while yawning, he felt tears come from his eyes but disappear. "H-Hunter..." her voice cracked, she was deeply scared of something.. but what? That is what Hunter needed to find out. He got up and he helped move her onto his lap.
"Willow what's wrong?" He said softly his eyes felt like closing but he couldn't let them. His girlfriend, the love of his life was sobbing onto his chest scared. Who could sleep while someone is doing that? "Hunter.." "Did... you have a bad dream?" She stopped crying for a bit she just stayed at the area of his 'heart', she responded with a small "mhm." Hunter sighed and moved her to his shoulder and started rocking back and forth.
"Mind telling me about this bad dream...?" Hunter said with a small whistle coming out of his mouth. He heard hiccups from Willow.
"H-Hunter.. y-you.. died.. and.. nothing was there to save y-you... I got so scared.. a-and, a-and i... I feel like I am not strong enough for me to protect you... I know He is gone.. but it scares me still.." She said while nuzzling into his neck. "I see... well... I am not dead.. and He is.. I have had similar dreams... but you... died instead mostly because I wasn't there to save you, that... you would end up like Fla...Flap..jack." "can... I just say in your arms for n-now...?" "Yes of course.."
Hunter slowly moved back down to his pillow. Willow nuzzled into his chest and stayed listening to the rhythmic beat. Hunter was softly moving his hand up and down her back and rocking. She slowly fell asleep, when her eyes had closed she shed a few more tears, he kissed her head and kept her close not letting his partner go.
