"Looks like someone got hungry." Boscha snickered, grabbing Amity to inspect the marks all over her neck.

"Shut up, idiot. It's not even what you think it is!" Amity lied and pushed her away. Boscha didn't need to know about the situation-ship between Lucia and herself.

Situation-ship.

What even was going on between them?

"Well, I'm sure my eyes aren't defying me." Boscha narrowed her eyes and tucked into the cup of pasta she got from the cafeteria.

"Knowing you, they probably are. Who knows what you've snorted today." Amity rolled her eyes and proceeded to scroll through Instagram, coming across a few of Lucia's posts and trying to ignore them.

"Actually, Miss know-it-all, I'm going drug free. Starting-"

"Never?" Amity smirked. She knew damn well that within 2 days time she was going to have to pick Boscha up from some street corner because she was drunk and on Ecstasy.

"Do not interrupt me!" Boscha spat, "as I was saying, starting today."

"Good look with that." Amity said sounding very uncertain. Her pink haired friend proceeded to blabber on about things she wasn't interested in such as parties, one night stands.. boys.

"Do you wanna hang out with us today, Dorkus?" Boscha asked, turning to Amity again.

"No-"

"Great! Meet me at my dorm at 7." Boscha interrupted, packing her stuff into her tote bag and standing up.

"dOn'T inTerRupT mE." Amity mocked quietly and rolled her eyes. "Asshole."

"Someone's in a salty mood today." An unfamiliar female voice said, startling the mint haired girl.

"Uhm, do I know you?" Amity asked, looking up at the girl. She had platinum blonde, almost silver hair and brown eyes. She held a very kind smile on her face and hand freckles sprinkled all over her face along with a British accent that Amity recognised as a London accent.

"Sorry! My names Carrie, Carrie Jewell. But you can call me CJ." The girl gave her hand out for Amity to shake, which she did. Hesitantly.

"I've never seen you around before." Amity raised a suspicious eyebrow. Amity hadn't been here long herself but she'd never heard of carrie before.

"Oh, Im a transfer student, I moved here from England."

"London?"

"Yes! What gave it away." The girl Gave a grin and sat in a seat across from amity.

"Your accent. I made it my goal to recognise all the British accents in high school. Pretty stupid, right?" Amity finally turned off her phone.

"No, that's pretty cool. I can barely recognise half them myself." Carrie let out a laugh and then a sigh of satisfaction.

"Well I have to get going. It was nice meeting you.. uhm.." The platinum haired girl paused, amity hadn't actually given her name yet.

"Amity." She smiled. She was happy to have finally met someone that seemed normal. No offence to Lucia of course.

Amity's new found friend gave her a wave before heading off to her class, leaving amity alone again.

The courtyard was getting a little chilly so she decided to head back up to her dorm where she found Lucia passed out, upright on the couch.

"Lucia.." Amity sighed as she took a seat beside her. Gently, she leaned her head against the latinas shoulder.

"Huh?" Lucia groaned, lifting her head up and looking at Amity. Amity looked up into Lucia's eyes, which were bloodshot and puffy.
