002: Worrywarts

You're in Saki's perspective.

Finally, lunch break! I closed my notebook and waited for Ichi-chan to close her notebook. I think about Ichi-chan's behaviour today. I try not to worry about it too much. Ichi-chan finally closed her notebook. I took out my lunch, so did Ichi-chan! We met up with Hona-chan and Shiho-chan on the rooftop!

Saki: Hona-chan! Shiho-chan! We're here ♪
Honami: Ah, Saki-chan! What are you having for lunch today?
Saki: Hehe. I'm having Okonomiyaki today!
Honami: Mmmm! Sounds good!
Honami: What about you, Ichika-chan?
Ichika: ...
Honami: Ichika-chan?
Shiho: Hey, Ichika.

I start thinking about Ichi-chan, again. She looks like she's having trouble with something. Why won't she tell me? Does she not trust me?

Saki: Ichi-chan!!
Ichika: Huh?

Ichi-chan looked like she zoned out. I start worrying even more! I don't know what's going on with her, but it's clearly something. I need to figure out what's bothering her! Could it be a family problem? Or maybe a crush..

Saki: Ichi-chan! Something's clearly bothering you. Tell me what it is!!
Ichika: It's nothing to worry about, Saki.

Ichi-chan says it's nothing to worry about... but I obviously am worrying about it! What could it be?!

Honami: Saki-chan's right. You seemed bothered. You can tell us.
Ichika: No, no.. it's nothing, really. No need to worry.
Shiho: Are you sure? I don't want you slacking off in band practice because of something. But, also because we care about you.
Ichika: Guys, I'm fine.
Saki: Well... okay... but remember, if there's something wrong, we're here for you!!
Ichika: Mhm, I'll keep that in mind.

You're in Ichika's perspective

Everyone cares for me so much. I feel so bad. I feel.... selfish. This is all my fault. If I just told them the truth, then they wouldn't be worrying about me. They all started talking about band practice, but I keep zoning out. I try to focus but, Saki keeps appearing in my head. Could I have develop feelings for her? No, no! It can't be.. We're just best friends!

Shiho: So, we're practicing Awaiting Clear Skies today?
Honami & Saki: Yeah!
Shiho: Ichika?
Ichika: Oh... u-uh... yeah.!
Shiho: Great. See you after school.
Saki: Byebye!

Lunch break was about to end in 10 minutes, so me and Saki were going back to our class. On the way there, Haruka was right near the door.

Saki: Haruka-chan! Hi!
Haruka: Ah, Saki-chan, Ichika-chan! How was your lunch?
Saki: Great! We talked about band stuff with Shiho-chan and Hona-chan.
Haruka: That's good. Now, I'll spend these last 10 minutes sketching penguins in my notebook.
Saki: Alright, have fun!

I let Saki do all the talking. I was too busy thinking about Saki. She's so nice, and fun, and silly.. Gah! Snap out of it Ichika! I think I need to take a quiz.
