ROSALIA'S POV
"What were you doing outside" Detective books asked me as he sat across me in the interrogation room
"I told you before detective books I heard a crash and I went to it " I said nonchalantly as I finally recovered from my sobbing session
"As a detective you should know your story doesn't quite add up detective Jones"
Here comes the string of questions I sighed
"Why were you up at that time "
"If your story is true as you claim, why didn't you call the police"
"We all know your story isn't true detective Jones " he said rolling his eyes wearing cheap sunglasses
"Firstly my curiosity got the best of me and I thought I could help, if I was the one who killed that innocent girl why didn't I run detective" I said looking at him in the eyes
"You know what Detective Jones I still strongly suspect you as this crime that has been happening is too neatly planned, and who else could orchestrate this better than an insider" he said adjusting the cheap glasses that are starting to irritate me more than the guy in front of me
"Detective book you and I know I'm innocent but you don't know how to solve this case that's why you are willing to put all the blame on me, all your clues lead to dead end and I must say that's quite sad Mr book" I sad standing up and walking around the table he is sitting on while he tries to act unfazed
"I remember clearly you saying it was one of the gangs around the area that kidnapped the innocent, but guess what you were wrong because the next week the entire gang was wiped out and we didn't find the missing person, then you blamed the barrister in the coffee shop because it was only women getting missing, and I remember clearly you said he is creepy " I scoffed as I took a breath
"How irritating a Detective judging someone without evidence an innocent coffee man who just wants everyone happy, then what happened next the innocent man's head was delivered to the family " I said pausing to cross my arms
"Do you remember what you said next, case closed the guilty one has been charged, and the crimes continue till date have you ever wondered what if it isn't a person more of a group what if it isn't a human David but you want to act so blind with your cheap glasses " I yelled eyeing him irritated
He stood up immediately and pointed at me
"You think you know it all don't you Jones but guess what you are never getting on that case, your little theories are cute and all but they will never be put in to consideration " he said angrily stepping towards me
"Not human don't be stupid Rosalia, you can't help on this your only a woman, it's too dangerous which makes me realize I was so stupid to think you could commit such a crime, get out of here Jones I just wasted good time on you " he said as he stood in front of me towering over me
"You'll come back begging Detective Book you know I'll solve this case as I already have a lead but it's alright I'll leave you to chase after ants " I said Smirking as I stood up and left
Oh that man is lucky I don't swear or I would have cursed him out but it's alright I'll try my best to solve this case by my self
It's about time we get a lead on this case and now I am most definitely sure that what ever is attacking is not human and I'm going to figure all that's happening
I wish I could get a drink right now but since these attacks all bars have been shut down and only open in the afternoon and no one wants to come out of their houses which is quite stupid to me because we can clearly see whatever is doing this can smash a couple doors
Gussy walks towards me as I leave the station doors
"Baby I'm so sorry you had to see that" he said hugging me
"It's alright Gussy I should have known better" I said returning the hug
"Baby you honestly should have" He said looking down at me seriously
Gussy always does this and it is honestly getting really annoying he should learn how to comfort someone honestly
"You really need to learn how to comfort someone Gussy" I said pulling back
"Babe what do you expect me to say, you just put yourself through so much trauma by going out cause nothing changed that little girl and the puppy still died her family is still mourning her, so sorry for caring about your mental health "
He almost yelled looking at me straight in the eye
I sighed looking away from him and looked at the innocent girls mother sobbing while holding the dad who sobs more than the mother in a fashion that resembles a baby
Gussy must notice my line of sight and informs me sadly
"The mother and father have been waiting to get pregnant for 12 years people believed the mother was barren or the father was sterile but after years of prayer they got innocent lily, who suffered such a gruesome death "
Tears gathered in my eyes as he slowly turns me away from the view unfolding before my eyes and towards his car and opens the door for me
Towards the ride to my house the tears gathered more in my eyes
"Barren"
"Sterile"
"Gruesome death"
"Years of prayer"
"12 years "
"Help me " i took in a shaky breath as i remembered Lily's voice calling out to her
Gussy shook her as they reached i apartment building
"Baby are you okay" he asked softly as he pulled a strand of hair behind my ear as he made me look at him
"Gussy I Killed her " I said weakly as I ran towards my apartment and locked the door as I heard him run after me
I leaned against the door as my legs gave out and standing felt to much for me, I fell to the floor with my back against the door
I sobbed as it suddenly became to hard for me to breathe I tried taking breaths but it all felt too much for me
"Gussy" I muttered as I felt my eyes close as I felt my consciousness slip
"BABY"
The last the thing heard before all consciousness slipped from me
