I opened the bathroom door and stood frozen at the sight before me

Gussy's hair was all messed up and he looked like he hadn't been sleeping but that wasn't what made me freeze, it was the creature behind him because I'm sure as hell that thing is not human

Back to where we were

Third Person's POV

Augustus looked at the love of his life with confusion shining in his eyes as he turned around he froze in shock at the creature in front of him

The blood red eyes shined like rubies with fangs coming out of its lips and a sick look laid behind that blood thirsty eyes

Augustus couldn't move he felt frozen to the ground and so did Rosalia

They both wondered if this is how it would end, after all that's been happening, this is how they would go

Augustus reached his back pocket to get his gun but in an inhumane speed the creature stood before him and smiled a sick smile at him

"Oh what a precious thing you are" it's gravely voice said with a sick meaning underneath

Augustus's body shook with fear at how it came before him he tried to reach for his gun but noticed it was missing

"Looking for this" The creature smiled as it held it up between them

"Ooo I wonder how much fun we can have with this " the creature laughed sickly and licked the gun with its tongue swirling it's tongue around the pistol

"As much as I would love to drain your blood mr Sheriff I'm here for the beauty behind you " the creature said smuggly

With that statement Augustus left whatever state of shock he once was in and his heart went to an over drive as the woman he has loved since they were kids was about to be taken from him

His hands rubbed his pocket longingly at the velvet box that remained there, that day at the bar he wanted to make it all official, he wanted to promise to love her enough for both of them, he wanted the two of them to grow old together but the mood was ruined

"What do you have there Mr Sheriff" the creature said as he put his fingers in his pocket

"Lookie here a ring Mr Sheriff wants to propose how cute" the creature laughed manically

That was all it took for Augustus he tried to elbow the creature in his neck but was pushed to the floor as he was too slow to compete with such a creature

Rosalia finally unforze and tears gathered in her eyes at the thought of Gussy proposing, she would have said yes even though she didn't love him but she adored him so much

The fight before her brought tears to her eyes, as she knew both she and Gussy will it survive this and she wanted more time with him

"Please stop, please don't kill him, kill me instead" she sobbed pathetically in the corner

"Baby shut up don't say that" Gussy yelled as the creature kicked him repeatedly in the ribs

Rosalia and Gussy were pretty sure the neighbors could hear the crunches his bones were making as they were breaking

"Aww cute love " the creature smiled

He continued his assault on Gussy as he laughed with each kick and punch he delivered

Gussy was strong but not strong enough to fight him and sadly he couldn't over power such a thing

Rosalia looked around the room for a way to help and she saw a knife resting on a table in her room

She walked slowly to the table so the creature wouldn't notice her but he was too engrossed in his gun with gussy to notice

Rosalia got the knife and walked to the Creature and stabbed him in his chest Where she calculated his heart would be

"Ohh I must say you have a good aim love but how do you expect to kill a vampire with a flimsy knife darling " he laughed once again and pulled the knife out and buried it in Gussy's thighs

Gussy's scream filled the apartment as tears pooled in Rosalia's eyes

"Gussyyy" Rosalia screamed

"Aww Gussy how cute but I must say you guys don't quite match don't you think " the Vampire laughed

"Oh well this has been fun and all but I'm nice enough to let you have your last words so Gussy what will they be" the Vampire asked him smiling devilishly his fangs pulsing as the blood of the man spilled on the white carpet he licked his lips as he thought of what a wonderful feast he will have

"Rosa, I know you hate me calling you that but will you marry me" he smiled through the pain

Rosalia cried painfully as saw his destroyed ribs making his center lay flat, she wondered how he remained alive but she knew her man was strong

"Yes Gussy I will, I love You so much " Rosalia said as she watched Gussy smile as his eyes flashed with a look she knew all to well

Adoration and love

The love he had for her that never seemed to reduce over the years

Rosalia didn't know if she meant the words or not or if she meant it as a friend or as a fiancé but all she knew is that she loves her Gussy be it platonically or Romantically

The Vampire laughed at the sight before him and pushed Rosalia away from the scene and through a wall which had her unconscious

"I love you Baby, I love you so much " Gussy whispered with his last breathe

"You betrayer I told you your last words not your last speech but that was cute but oh well time to go bye bye" the Vampire smiled

He walked back from Gussy and ran to his body and the floor and jumped on him with his boots that had knives beneath them he jumped repeatedly and never stopped till he bent down and kissed the curve of his neck

"I want to taste my mate" The crazy said as he pierced his fangs into his neck and groaned at the taste of his sweet man

Oh what a wonderful mate you would have been my love he thought as he drained what ever blood remained in his body when he was done he placed a kind sloppy kiss on his lips had and laughed as tears rolled down his eyes what a beauty he smiled a genuine one

"Well Rosalia off we go we have a place to be" the vampire said as he picked Rosalia's unconscious body
