"Bloody hell" Rosalia muttered as she entered the kitchen
She wore one of Damiens grey shirts that were like four sizes too big and nothing underneath as they were all too big
Her thighs clenched with the sight before her her plump lips pulled between her teeth
Damian made his way around the kitchen shirtless with only grey sweatpants as he cooked
He turned around hearing her and bit his lip, looking at his mate in his clothes with her wet curly hair falling to her waist
He suppressed the groan that wanted to slip out of his lips
"I must say mate you are quite a view" Rosa said walking to a bar stool in the kitchen And sitting
Pink coated his cheeks once more
He wanted nothing more than to bury his head in her neck but he couldn't as thoughts of her past relationship flashed through his head
From the short time Rosa has known Damien she could tell when something was wrong and right now she could only take a guess at it
Damien placed a plate full of pancakes, maple syrup and some fruit by the side
"Thanks Damy" she whispered as she pulled him to her and kissed his cheek
Surprising him by how strong she was and to flush once more
Damien took his plate and sat across from her on the stool opposite her
"Gussy was my brother's bestfriend, his parents were separated and his mum lived in London with my parents as they were best friends so Gussy visited a lot" Rosa started
Gaining Damiens attention
She took a fork full of pancakes and moaned at the taste as it's been a while she had something so good
"He stayed with his dad in America, but whenever he visited he never made it a secret that he liked me and always wanted to play with me despite the age gap , he would play with my Barbies and hold me tightly when I got injured or anything" Rosalia smiled lightly at the memory
"But he stopped visiting and my parents well things weren't ever good and things happened after my university and I moved to America" Rosalia said skipping some parts as she wasn't ready to let that out yet
Taking a break to eat the divine food before her while Damien looked at her with curiosity
What has she gone through Damien thought with worry flooding through him
Once done with her food while Damien looked like he couldn't eat anymore as curiosity filled him she looked at him apologetically
"I'm sorry it was too good to stop" Rosa smiled sheepishly
"I wanted to be a detective, I studied criminology and forensic science so I was allowed to and I quickly reached the top and once again I met Gussy"Rosalia smiled at the memory and she felt a small twinge in her stomach
"I was so happy to have someone with me and so Gussy began courting me and I never truly felt complete with him but I felt so lonely that I started to enjoy the company and soon we became a couple"
"We were the power couple you know. The number one detective and the sheriff, we were hated, loved,envied. But our story was cut short, by a-a-a vampire "Rosalia whimpered
"We weren't the best, we had our arguments and what not but he didn't deserve to die like that. I can't say I love him because that would be me lying to you damy"
"I always felt we weren't complete that something was missing between us and no matter what I couldn't love him and he knew that but believed he could love us enough for each other"
With this Rosa stood and walked towards Damien and held his face looking into his eyes and saw unshed tears in it
"That night Damy, he wasn't supposed to die but I called him over when I heard the noise and because of me he's gone, he proposed to me on his dying spot , I didn't deserve him and I knew that but I was too selfish to let him go" Rosalia whispered
"I don't know what this mate thing is Damy, I really do not but all I know is that I feel complete with you,I feel like as this goes on I can love you, I know you're not human but I want to try at this cause you make me feel like I can be vulnerable " Rosalia said holding his head and stroking his cheek with my thumb
"Mate accepts us" Cairo howled out
"Yes she does " Damien replied in his head
Tears dropped down from Damiens eyes as he looked at the beauty before him
"I want you Rosa" Damien said standing up and hugging Rosa so tight
"I want you too Damien" Rosalia replied
They stayed in each other's embrace in the kitchen until both pulled back with so much emotions in their eyes as they looked at each other
Like an invisible force pulled both together they found them selves getting even closer as they looked at the others lips
And soon
They kissed
Emotions spiraled and the room felt tight with emotions
