Third Person's POV
Its been three days since Rosalia was taken, no one cared to search for her as David convinced everyone that she killed Gussy
The men easily believed as the bitterness from never having her made them believe she was capable but deep down they knew she couldn't
The girls out of jealousy didn't bother to question it, they wondered who would be the new heart throb of their little town
All so oblivious to dead bodies that increased daily, Gussy was mourned by none as he also has no one
His parents were killed by what they believed to be the vampires, Rosalia wanted to cry badly and mourn her lost lover but she felt it she couldn't right now. She was incredibly sad she couldn't attend his burial
Rosalia laid weakly as she was cuffed to the bed, starved for the three days she has been here. No one has come into the room since David last came, not a drop of water has touched her tongue since her movie marathon
"My sweet girl " Davids voice taunted as he opened the cell door
"I missed you so much" he said walking towards exhausted Rosalia
"Why aren't you answering me sweet girl"
He asked again as he neared her
"Well I have good news so smile" he said smiling as he stood in front of her chained figure
Rosalia made no attempt to smile and this angered David
"I said smile" David yelled as he delivered a back hand to her left cheek, which sent her head to the other side and blood dripping from her lips at his inhumane strength
"Smile " he yelled and slapped her again
This time she felt blood dripping more from the huge gash from her lips and her cheeks felt too sore to move
With all the pain she felt, she felt a nagging sorrow In her chest as if her pain hurt another
"Your very beautiful you know, all tied and at my mercy, you've never looked so beautiful darling" he said rubbing her cheeks so lightly
She wondered how he could beat her up one minute and treat her like a feather the next
"Well the good news my darling is, drum roll please" he said laughing And smirked as he looked at my chained wrists
"Oh you can't really move your hands can you " he laughed once again
"Any way the good news is that, tonight's a full moon" he said laughing happily
"What's so important about the full moon" Rosalia managed to question as she felt her strength seeping out of her with each word, her back still ached badly
and she was honestly tired of the pain but couldn't bear to think of death
"Well sweat girl, the full moon is when I can finally mark you as mine and take you away from that stupid mate of yours" David said happily with a wide grin on his face, her heart clenched at the insult and she wondered why
"David please can you just explain this all to me I beg of you please" she whispered, her British as thick as ever in her raw state of emotions
"I guess you need to understand a bit if what's happening right now" he huffed
"Well sweet girl, as you can see we are vampires, we are incredibly strong, fast and very attractive when in our human form but we also have our beast form which makes us look more insane and deadly. Many years ago,a man Karl and a woman Adora were once lab rats to a bunch of humans who thought they could try nasty experiments on them as they stole some oranges" he said bitterly
"Everyday Karl and Adora were injected by lethal injections to try and find the cure for humanity as the scientists said making it seem like humanity was more of a disease than a race. Karl and Adora were madly in love with each other but sadly very poor hence the reason they felt the need to steal oranges"
"Day after day they were taken to find the cure and Karl noticed Adora was getting weak and reacting negatively to the injections and drugs they stuffed them with and tried to take her positional a test subject and as the experiments continued they noticed something in Karl's body"
"There was something in his blood that fought off all other treatments, a scientist became crazed over the realization and tried to find out more, he noticed that Karl had sharper incisors than normal and he noticed Karl was easily fighting if the guards that tried to get him for more treatments and he noticed Karl wanted nothing more than to be with his Adora"
"The scientists wondered why his bond with Adora increased in 10 folds as he fought whoever wanted to approach her then one day as they were cuddled up in their cell Karl fell backwards and his eyes rolled to the back of his head as he twitched uncontrollably, he felt his incisor grow sharper and pulse with the need to feed and with his eyes clouded by blood lust he pounced on his love and drained every drop of blood in her body " he took a breath before continuing laughing at how stuck Rosalia was in his story
"He itched for more but there was a sane part in him that mourned the death of their loved one as he watched the guards gather at his cell door trying to sedate him, he fought them all off easily and drained every drop of blood in their body and escaped the facility killing any one who dared to come his way "
"In the process of killing many vampires he realized he could turn them and make them attracted to him as a bond was formed with each turn and he loved the feeling and turned almost every human in his eye sight and finally decided to take a break as he felt a bond towards a human, one so strong he couldn't even explain it and till date it can't be explained but some say it wasn't as strong as the one he had to Adora, we vampires decided to call that bond the mate bond and the attraction to the person proving that their our mates"
"We had no reason to believe we were meant to be but call it instinct we craved to be near them,we craved to be near the bond and decided to stay with the bond as it cleared all blood lust we could ever feel towards another" he said smiling down at Rosalia
"So do you get now" he asked with a smirk
