The Next Morning...
Rosemary's P.O.VI blink my eyes open tiredly, seeing the light pouring in through the side of the curtains. I look at the spot next to me in my bed, frowning for a second when noticing Gabriel isn't there. Why would he be though? Wait...what if this never actually happend?
I begin to sit up straight, but instantly yelp when I feel a pain in my ribs. Nope, not a dream.
I hold my ribs as I sit up straight. I push the covers off, slinging my feet over the edge of the bed. I nervously look down at my ankle. Ugh...please say I can walk.
I stand up, the pain in my ankle still present. Oh great. I push out an annoyed breath. "He must think I'm insane." I say to myself, talking about Gabriel. What delusional idiot threatens to jump off a building just to see a demon that might not actually exist? Oh, wait, that idiot is me.
I really need some- suddenly, I hear something fall from next to me. I turn, looking at the floor, seeing a pencil rolling. I turn my head to the nightstand. There, I see some painkillers as well as a glass of water. He...he set out medicine for me? Wait...HE'S HERE RIGHT NOW. He made the pencil fall. Hm...
"Thank you..." I say cautiously, taking the medicine as I look around suspiciously. Where is he? What if I can somehow see an outline of him? Who am I kidding, he's merely air with eyeballs at this point.
I limp to my dresser, getting out some clothes, before heading to the bathroom. I have to go to work. And like this...
Shoot. What do I tell Lyssa and Chrissy? Well...I guess I can say I fell out of my car or something. It should be pretty believable with how clumsy I am. Even though I'm not that clumsy.
...
Technically.
It's a really weird feeling to know Gabriel is watching me. I really hope he's not every second though. Because that would mean he has seen me naked. Would he really though? Even though he's a demon, he seemed...kind of more gentle than I would imagine a demon to be. He's more ambivalent than malevolent.
I finish doing my usual morning routine before limping my sorry butt all the way to the kitchen. I look around again. Now I'm just annoyed. He...he cuddled with me last night. I've never cuddled with someone before! And God how I loved him running his hands through my hair. But now, he doesn't even say goodbye. He just disappears.
I place my hands on my hips, huffing, "Gabriel." I say his name, looking around. Nothing. I drop my arms and slouch my shoulders. Ugh.
"Can you please talk to me?" I ask helplessly, looking around.
Gabriel's P.O.V
I pinch the bridge of my nose, listening to Rosemary as she trys to get me to talk to her. I wish I could shut her up. And in a pleasant way.
"Come on man." She let's out a long breath. She continues talking until I just get annoyed and push a glass bowl off the counter, it shattering on the floor.
Rosemary's mouth drops slightly, "Oh you son of a demon-asshole!" She curses, leaning down to pick up the glass. I just chuckle evily to myself, enjoying watching her bend down and pick up the glass.
**
Rosemary's P.O.V
After finally getting all the glass cleaned up, I made my way to work. And I must say, I am in a bad mood. Gabriel is an asshole. A big old demon-asshole. He's just so handsomely annoying. I mean annoying...not handsomely...
