Gabriel's P.O.V

Fuck, that guys blood tasted like shi- suddenly, I hear a scream in the distance. Rosemary.

I speed in the direction of the bar she was going to. Fuck fuck fuck.

"Stop! S-stop! Pl-please!" I speed around the side of the bar, just in enough time to see a guy forcing himself on Rosemary, his hand somewhere it absolutely should not be. He's a dead man. Holy shit how he is a dead man.

I speed at the guy, ripping him off of Rosemary's body and tossing him on the ground. He gasps when seeing me, my hair white, eyes glowing red, and teeth bared. I'm fucking seething.

I send pain through his body with my touch, him screaming out in pain until I silence him. I lean down, sinking my teeth into his neck where I inject venom that will slowly kill him, and painfully. He tries to let out even more cries, but nothing ever comes out. I drag him around the corner and throw him against a giant garbage bin before returning to Rosemary.

I see Rosemary crying. She's scared, completely terrified. I try to link into her emotions, but what she's feeling right now is so strong, actually making me wince and log off her emotions.

I walk towards Rosemary cautiously, my hair and eyes back to normal, but she launches into my arms. She holds onto my shirt as she burries her face in my chest, her whole body shaking violently.

I focus on the warmth she's radiating, and the feeling of her in my arms. It gives me a sense of relief, knowing that she is here, and she is ok.

I lean Rosemary back for a second, tucking her hair behind her ear as I look deeply into her eyes. Fuck she scared the shit out of me.

"Did he hurt you?" I ask, trying to wipe away some of her tears. That son of a bitch.

"I...he...h-he...t-touched m-me." She makes out through sobs, struggling to breathe. I pull her to my chest again, holding the back of her head. This is my fault.

Her body sinks into mine, and she even stands closer to me, so close her legs touch mine and my lower body presses against hers. She's so full of life...and I'm not.

"What the fuck happend?" I ask. Rosemary leans back to look at me. I can tell she's trying to calm herself down.

"I thought you were always around?"

I shake my head, "If I was around just now that fucker wouldn't have even stepped a foot within distance from you. I was out feeding. I have to feed to stay strong, Rosemary." I remind her. Rosemary nods, wiping some tears from her eyes.

"I...he was dancing neer me and bumped into me on accident. He started talking to me but said he couldn't hear me and told me to come outside with him. So I did..." what the fuck? She just fucking followed him? A stranger?God this girl is...amazing, but she is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

"And you didn't even think, 'hey, maybe I don't know this person. I shouldn't follow him outside'!" My voice comes out more angered than I intend and I raise it, my eyes most definitely turning red.

I instantly regret it when I see Rosemary flinch at my voice, looking up into my blood-red eyes. Why is that not a good feeling? That is really really not a good feeling. I don't want her to be scared of me. Well, I guess I did, and I know she should be...but I don't think I realized until now how much it would...hurt me- Something I shouldn't feel. Hurt.

"I'm sorry...I...I didn't mean to raise my voice at you." I apologize, cautiously moving my hand towards her face and wiping another tear away. Her eyes are pretty when she cries.
