Chapter 5

Mizuki's POV
Where am I? Why is it so dark? What did I do? I tried forcing my eyes open but it didn't work. Am I dreaming?
"Mizuki......"
Um who's there?
"Wake up...."
Uh...I'm confused here...
"Come on....wake up.."
I'm trying....?
"I said wake up!"
Suddenly I jumped up and was in a car driving. We were driving to a very familiar mansion when it came into view. I tried looking at who was driving but there was a wall between us. And I wanted to ask why I'm going here.....what even happened?
When we pulled up to the mansion the door opened as I was helped out. Two rows of people on both sides of me led the way bowing as I walked by them. I slowly walked to the door and watched everyone disappear. Jumping a little in suprise I turned to the door as I heard the car drive away. I'm all alone again...but how do I know this place. I turned around and the thought of -I could run away. Passed through my thoughts...its no use I'm here for a reason and if I run who knows what's even out there. Sighing deeply I closed my eyes and opened the two large doors as lights went on. I backed up and saw that the whole mansion was lit up beautifully. My head hurt as I tried to remember why I know this place. Why is it so familiar though? As I walked in I was left in awe. It's so beautiful....wait.... Flashes of my past nightmares flashed through me. I've been here..I know that at the least. Silence ran throughout the home and I slowly walked to the middle of the entrance floor. I saw family portraits as I looked closely to one of them. There was a man, brown hair, green eyes, well bulit, and a very happy look in his eyes. A woman, tall, fair, silver hair, blue eyes, beautiful smile, and a beautiful necklace....that looks exactly like mine. Two little boys, one with blonde hair and the other with brown. They both had green eyes and looked identical. The only difference being their hair. Then there's a girl, blue eyes, brown hair, and a cute little smile. I kept walking as I saw a beautifully colored room with a piano in it. It's the most colorful room here. Visions of me playing a piano just like it flash throughout my mind.
"Mizuki" I turned and saw Kaname
"Kana...me" he smile
"Good morning my dear Luna" I felt a chill as his eyes just stared at me
"Good..morning?" I looked down as I gasped seeing my attire. A black lace nightgown covered me as I backed away from him.
"Where am I? Where's...Yuki?" he smiled
"She's not here....I wanted alone time with you." my eyes widened
"Well then...let me go home and I'll change" I said firmly as he chuckled
"I already had you dressed" I glared at him as he twirled a strand of my hair with his index finger
"Your blood still smells like it'd be satisfying" I jumped away from him as he simply gave me a confused look
"What is it?"I shivered in fear of his tone as I looked him in the eyes
"Let. Me. Change."he smiled
"There's my Luna, Nozomi"
"Yes...sir?"
"Please take...Aimi to her room" Aimi? Who is that? She gave him a courtesy as she gestured for me to follow her. I was hesitant but listened as Kaname gently touched my arm as I walked away. She led me up the stairs as I was led down a familiar hall. I certainly have been here. She stopped in front of a beautiful white door detailed with silver lines.
"It'll only open to you...Miss..." I went to open it as it opened on it's own. My hand moved back in shock as I looked at her warming face.
"Your names Nozomi , right?" she nodded
"Yes Miss" I smiled
"That's beautiful, do you know what that means?" she shook her head shyly
"It means hope" she smiled
"Thank you..." I nodded
"Of course..it was very nice to meet you" she looked back up to me flashing one more smile
"To you as well Miss" I walked into the room as I was brought back to the all too familiar smell of vanilla. This is like my room....vanilla as always been my favorite scent. I looked around as saw a picture of the mom and daughter I saw downstairs. Only...her hair is pink here... I looked closer at the picture as I remember the mom. She was picking me up from...in a crib.... Is this girl...me? I remembered the task at hand as I sighed closing my eyes. Turning I saw a box as a opened it a beautiful red evening gown was inside along with black heels. I looked at my necklace around my neck still securely as I found the bathroom. A quick shower won't hurt...

After taking a shower and getting ready I let my calm curls fall on my back. Getting the silver hair pin from the box I slipped it in my hair putting two small strands holding onto it. Peeking out the door I saw no one so I stepped out leaving the vanilla scent behind. I felt something as I looked down to see rose petals. Following them I picked up a note. Nothing was on it so I folded it and held in my hand. Walking more I was led to a door. Hesitantly I opened the door as a beautiful violinist stood to the left of a fireplace.
"Luna there you are!" a cheerful yet a very calm deep voice filled my ears. I looked to the left and saw Kaname again.
"Yeah..." he frowned
"Why must you act like I'm a stranger?" I looked down
"Cause I don't really know you that much any more..."I looked back up to meet his eyes "do I?" he smiled
"Clever girl, your speaking of because last time we saw one another is when you found out my secret" I nodded slowly as he chuckled
"Well, please come sit down, I hope your favorite dish and desert hasn't changed" he pulled out my seat and I sat down as he pushed the seat in for me. Sitting across from me he eyed me making me feel uncomfortable.
"I am really glad I remembered your sizes...that dress looks so good on you" I froze as my cold back got even colder
"Uh..thanks.." as I didn't know what else to say I gave myself a pass on my strange way of speaking to others.
"Here is the meal you wanted sir" a guy handed us our plates with glasses of wine. Mine was a white wine in the most beautiful glass. As Kaname's was a red wine, but from experience I know that's no wine.
"Oh...sorry...if you're wondering.. This is wine with one of my blood tablets. Don't worry my Luna" I shifted uncomfortably as I picked up my utensils and took a small bite. The familiar delicious flavors filled my mouth and I smiled. It makes me feel so happy...yet sad with a memory I just can't remember.
"Have I been here before...Kaname?" his eyes widened as soon as I finished but he composed himself
"Yes...I bought this from someone and...well you knew them" could they know about my parents? Do they know my past?
"Who...was it?" he shook his head
"Luna it's way to early for me to tell you that...your not ready to know." he said matter-of-a-fact-ly
"But..."
"Please Aimi" I looked down and continued eating
"How long will I be here?" he looked at me as I tried to ignore his stare
"It's undecided" I looked up to him
"What do you mean undecided?"
"You're a smart girl you should understand" I crossed my arms
"And if I don't Kuran" he looked me in the eyes as I stood my ground
"Till I know you're safe" I glared at him before looking way anger consuming me
"Your hair is red velvet" I looked out to the moon as I completely ignored him
"I'm going to sleep"
"Wait-"
"If you want to talk we'll talk tomorrow" I said sternly as he sighed
"Okay tomorrow then...have sweet dreams Luna" I closed my eyes and turned away
"You too Kuran"
Zero's POV
Vanilla
It's all I can smell as I lay in her bed. Memory of what happened yesterday night flashed through my thoughts as I frown. I shouldn't have done that.
I looked out her window and sighed
I wonder..
If she remembers..
If now she hates me...
If I've officially lost her...
Most importantly..
If I could ever make it up to her....
And...
If she is thinking of me too...
Mizuki's POV
I laid down now completely out of energy as I look out my window. Something hits me as a see a purple ribbon...
Zero....
Why couldn't I remember his name earlier?
Sighing I cover my face with my hands
"Gosh I've never been such a mess"
