Chapter 9

Mizuki's POV
I cringed and held my head as I had quickly gotten up. Looking around I'm in an unfamiliar room yet one similar to my own. The door opened as Zero walked in.

"Oh Mizuki...you're awake" I slowly nodded my right hand resting on my head still.

"Here I got you a damp cloth, lay down" his hand gently touched my back as his other on my stomach guided me. I laid down as I started to be able to hear my own heart beating..fast at that. He smiled at me and put the cool cloth on my forehead. A calming sensation took over me as I let out a small breath.

"I got you some pain killers for your head" I shook my head slightly

"Thank you...but I don't take medicine..." he rasied an eyebrow

"Why not?" I shrugged

"I haven't had to, nor did I ever have access to it" he thought about it and slightly chuckled

"Okay...oh someone had called your room asking if you'd be in today?" I thought about it...huh? Oh gosh the cafe!

"Oh I'm going to be late!" I said quickly as I looked at him

"Uh...Zero can I ask you something?"he nodded

"What is it...that you want for Christmas?" he thought about it and looked down

"Love" I raised an eyebrow

"Love?" he nodded and looked at me as his eyes showed complete sincerity

"Yes that's..that's what I want more than anything" I smiled as I put my hand on his cheek

"You sure are different Zero" I brought him closer and embraced him as he did quickly back. He's warm, and he makes me feel a certain kind of security that I've never felt from another. That is what draws me to him. That's what I've come to realize. We pulled away as he got up

"Did you need help getting anywhere?"I shook my head

"No, I'll be fine" he nodded and I started to walk out. Turning around I looked at him smiling

"Thanks Zero...for helping me." he smiled

"You're welcome..Mizuki"

"Mizuki! I'm so glad you could make it a man answered and said you had felt ill" she said frowning as I nodded

"I did but now I'm fine...manager?" I said iffy about it

"Oh how rude of me, you can call me by given name, Emiki. When I work as a maid though please address me as Emi." I smiled

"Yes Emiki-san" she smiled

"Everyone else is your age group so you can address them all as -chan" I walked into a room behind her as a group of girls were before me. They instantly crowded me.

"Aww she's so cute!"
"What's your name?"
"Oh we have a new girl!"
"You didn't tell me she was so cute!"

"Every one" they all got quiet and backed off

"This is Tsuki Mizuki, she will be working here from now on so treat her like family." family. The word striked me so hard and it actually made my heart ache.

"Hi I'm Aki! I work here and I'm a special veterinarian. I do all the urgent cases!"

"I'm Fumiko! I'm a fashion designer, and cosmetology expert. I was out when you came so this is my first time actually seeing you. I'm so glad to meet you!"

"I'm Nori, a college student in technology and web design. It's very pleasing to meet you"

"I'm Reiko! I'm a part time party planner and a baker! I'm so very happy to have you here!" I smiled and tried to say everyone's names out of memory..
