"Give it up for BTS!"

Became the words heard most often on our every function across the United States.

I couldn't explain in words how happy this tour had made me. It's made all of us the happiest people on earth. To meet international ARMY is a dream come true. City to city meeting with reporters, doing photoshoots, and brief show appearances. Though I can't wait until we are booked as lead guest in an actual day or night show.

Jiwon and I have created a good yet concerning habit of sneaking out of our rooms late at night. Surprisingly not for the reasons anyone would think. I've learned that she's a owl cause she is never sleeping when she has to. And so happens to invite me on her nightly adventures to search for a snack, a spot to sit and talk or fall asleep in the wrong places. I like that she has freedom.

She can go out whenever she wants and show her face. I can't do that without an army of security with me. I'm envious.

I dreaded the thought of getting sick after tending my Eunha, but I got screwed either way. I began to feel sick on our last show before traveling to Chile. Now that we're here its worse.

"You feel better today?"

"A little better." I accept the pain killers given by the medical personnel. It's just a headache. I think I'll live. We have a concert tomorrow so by then I hope this drop in temperatures are better.

I had a fever of 39 C which is a bit high, though thanks to the medicine it decreased. But still a fever that is covering me with chills. Not stopping me from going out with Jiwon tho! From the balcony I can see the dark lighting filled clouds slowly hovering from the ocean. Even though the weather is warm and humid, this fever is making me cold.

I swing on my denim jacket and carefully exit the suite undetected. Its little over 2 am so Jiwon should be around here.

"Hello Jungkook," I startled easily at the insanely deep masculine voice behind me. Fuck. "Gangtae, hi." I smiled not knowing what else to do. He's my main bodyguard, the one that actually pushes people away when they get too close. He makes me mad when he does it. "I'll just go back in." I gesture back to the suite but then Jiwon walks around him.

Her beach dressed blew me away. It gave me such a Hawaiian vibe. And matches her auburn hair.

"Sorry, he caught me on the way out."

"Both of you know this is off limits whatever this is." He gestures between Jiwon and myself. "If you're here with him then no its not. I told you I already checked the beach and it's empty."

"We're going to the beach?"

"To watch the lighting storm it'll be so fun."

Watching a lightning storm at the beach. Mm living like Larry is starting to amuse me. "Lets do this." I say enthusiastically but Gangtae raises his brow. "Aren't you sick?"

"No," I answered almost immediately. Thats when Jiwon smirks, touching my neck. I flinch at her cold fingers. "He seems fine to me."

"See?"

Gangtae rolled his eyes at the both of us. "What if people show up?"

"Theres a ban in place from the beach due to the storm. Nobody gonna be there."

"Seriously miss Choi?"

"Look your sole job is to protect Jungkook, and if it comes to it then you will."

I raised my hand like a school kid, "I'm very capable of protecting myself."

"Not here you ain't."

I sigh, "can we go?"

As petty that argument was I found it ridiculously funny. We're walking distance from the beach so we rushed there without being noticed at the hotel. The smell of seawater slapped me with the wind. I carried my shoes and socks in my hands after entering the sand. The sand is so warm I dug my feet in it. "Are you really cold?"

Jiwon asks after noticing I'm not beside her. "No," I replied. My arms are closed around myself. I smiled, "yes."

"If you keep walking you'll feel warmer."

I nodded and follow close to her, honestly wishing we could hug. We look at the sky when thunder lit up the clouds over us. The sound of it plus the breeze feels like one of those life moments where nothing feels real. Basically we shuffled our feet in the sand, making our steps real slow. And I didn't mind it. Our hands grazed together from time to time.

I bit my lip trying to refrain from locking our fingers together.

Her hands glue my arm after she gasps in fear. Eyes locked on wooden deck with a bunch of tables with closed beach umbrellas. Gangtae is somewhere nearby after deciding to give us privacy. I don't see him bombarding us so there's probably no threat. "What is it?" I asked, looking for anything that might have scared her.

Her giggles fill my ears in seconds. She clutches her chest, "I thought we ran into a Klan meeting when I saw those beach umbrellas."

"Klan meeting?"

She points to the umbrellas, explaining how they symmetrically beside each other like a single file line. "They look like the Ku Klux Klan."

I had to look at it twice to feel how eerie they look now. I can't unsee it. "They sort of do look like the KKK." I snorted.

We turn our backs to the deck and now watch the water rising close to our feet. She's looking at me with concern. I know I'm quieter than usual at the moment, when other times we tell jokes and converse about nonsense.

"Jiwon, I need your opinion on something."

"Okay?"

The pitch black current suddenly felt more interesting than life. I felt a hand on my shoulder, followed by her fingers tugging my sleeve so I turn to her. "Is there something wrong?" Just now a light breeze came through us, blowing Jiwon's dress and her to the side. She's so pretty, gosh.

"Baek Eunha's mother, Joy, wants to see her. Part of me wants to let her, but the other part refuses. I don't know what I should do because she is her mother and I'd feel so bad if I never let Toodles meet her. I keep thinking about when she's older and starts asking. Its a...its a knot."

Jiwon's eyes moved away so she could think. Though she guided me toward the deck with the creepy umbrellas and we sat across from one another on a glass table. "I think...you should meet up. You're probably confused on her reasoning. Ask yourself this, Jungkook, is there something you want to know that only she could tell you?"

I clenched my jaw. That was my answer. "It does not have to be now, but find out why Joy wants to meet up. It isn't only because of Eunha." Jiwon smiles comfortably. My lips curve upward.

She reaches unto her little handbag she carried, passed me something wrapped in a present.  "I'm not supposed to give you this yet. Though I want you to have it. Only took me months to do." The present slides toward me.

I hold on to my smirk, tearing the gift open.

Woah.

The outdoor lights of the food joint nearby gave shimmery bling to the solid platinum cuff bracelet. Thick, it holds the BTS logo in black stone and my name written in various patterns. Though my name is written in white crystals. It looks like a an ancient artifact that belongs in a museum. "Is this real jewels?" My finger gently caresses the BTS logo.

It's literally the most beautiful piece of jewelry I've seen up to this day.

"The logo is made of solid Onyx, the cuff is platinum, your name is written with real diamond gems. Jungkook this bracelet you're supposed to wear for the Love Yourself album's release. It's going to be huge. Craziest part, this is a prototype."

"Holy shiii...How did you get this?"

She brushed her hair behind her ear, "still don't believe I will be a designer? Go ahead, put it on." She gushes, closing her fists near her mouth out of excitement.
