It was a dark and stormy night. A night on which the bunker was more eerily quiet than most others. Barely a sound could be heard inside the cold, cement walls except the continuous, light drip, drip, drip of the bathroom taps, which at that point had become like white noise to those living there.

Out of the six people who did happen to live there, only three of them currently occupied the old Men of Letters bunker. Two of which were human and the other was a demon, although he was there against his will so he wouldn't really count himself as a true member of the family.

Yet anyway.

Of the two humans left within the confines of the walls, one of them was asleep and the other was currently making his way to the kitchen in search of some of the 'super secret special' treats that Dean thought he kept hidden well enough for the others not to know where they were.

But spoiler alert, everyone, even the demon in the dungeon, knew they were there and yet Dean refused to move them elsewhere and would continue to gripe and groan when people would eat them.

Normally Kevin wouldn't be one of the ones to eat them but given that Dean was currently "out of office", he thought it was well within his rights to reward himself with some after he had managed to decipher some of the demon tablet without passing out. Which was a first.

Rounding the corner as he approached the kitchen, Kevin was quick to come to a sudden stop just outside one of the old storage units, his brow furrowing deeply as he could have sworn he saw someone inside. But that was impossible.

Or at least, he thought it was.

He took a few steps back, coming face to face with the ajar door and peering through the crack, his heart almost stopping at the sight of somebody he'd never seen before standing inside the otherwise empty room. How did they get in without the key? He had no idea. All he knew was that he needed to get the hell away from the door before they spotted him as it was more than likely him they were there for.

With his heart racing in his chest, Kevin began to sprint back down the corridor as fast as his little legs would carry him. He tried his best to be quiet but given the speed at which he was running, the pats of his socked feet against the floor were louder than he would have liked but he carried on anyway, rounding the corner and continuing to make his way towards the room of the only person left in the bunker who could help him.

Sam's twin sister, Selina. Or as she was known to most, Cat.

A few weeks ago, Selina had undergone the harrowing trials of trying to close the Gates of Hell. However, after learning that completing the third and final trial would result in her death, Sam and Dean had been quick to stop their sister from completing it, just barely catching her seconds before she said the final words to seal the gates shut forever.

Naturally Selina had fought her brothers on it as she was more than prepared, and happy, to die if it meant no more demons would ever walk the face of the earth but eventually she gave in. And little did she know she'd actually come to be thankful for that decision... but we'll get to that in due time.

Ever since that third trial. Since that day in the church where she had practically pierced the veil of death by injecting her own blood into Crowley in (failed) attempts to turn him human, Selina had remained in bed.

Every so often Castiel would come in and heal her a little at a time, but it was a slow process to heal that much damage, therefore getting as much rest as she could was the only way to make sure she had the best chances of returning back to her normal self again.
