The cold was killing her. The first three days after running away were fine, she would spend her days at the library and her nights at the school and she wasn't proud of it but it was quite easy to steal food when you are invisible. She had been invisible for almost 72 hours. It was tiring and took up a lot of energy so she wasn't all surprised when it gave out. She was lucky she was alone in the library when it happened. Her body refused to turn back exhausted. Her senses suddenly felt dull, the colours of the world draining. She was gonna be stuck like this for a while.

Being invisible was her only defence. The police were looking for her as Violet and the avengers were looking for her as Spider-woman. There was no doubt in her mind that Ms Wren had swung her own side of the story making Violet into the villain. And when it came to it Violet would rather spend a day in hell than face Ms Wren. Violet didn't know if Ms Wren had made her into a dangerous disturbed teen or a scared puppy. A bet Violet didn't want to take. With her mind made up Violet changed into her suit and swung off the library roof.

Tony pov

A ping on his phone brought his attention away from staring at a reporter's moustache. Tony couldn't remember his name but knew he should be paying attention. They were finally at the end stages of revising the Sokovia Accords, making them less the government controlling their every move and more about accountability. The avengers were finally agreeing, Tony was happy to be on good terms with Steve again. It had been a hard year and Tony was glad it was finally over. Today was the signing of the accords all ten avengers had signed. They just had to deal with the press and then Tony could finally have a drink. After what felt like a lifetime they were ushered off stage. Pepper ran straight into Tony's arms. He wrapped his arm around her waist and turned to the stage where king T'Challa was now delivering a speech. He talked about Wakanda and his father and the pathway to peace. It was shity what had happened to his father but T'Challa made a great king and leader. The king stepped off the podium and was swamped by questions. Mostly about Wakanda's new outreach program. Tony lost interest and remembered his phone dinging. Tony pulled the phone out of his pocket. It was a notification from F.R.I.D.A.Y, a lead on the Spider-woman.

Tony unwrapped his hand from peppers waist and opened his phone. The lead was two dozen videos from a camera on the roof of the Queens public library. A blurry image of Spider-woman came up on screen, very blurry you could mistake it for a couple of dodgy pixels. The blur swung off the building. The next two videos were much the same spider-woman appearing and then swinging off the roof. The others were in a different order, Spider-woman swinging onto the roof then walking towards the north side and climbing down the wall. It was a major breakthrough. Finally a slip up. Tony slipped away from the conference room and hurried to the nearest office.

"Friday, pull up the blueprints of Queens public library." He said logging onto the computer. The file came up instantly. Tony focused on the north wall.

"Can you bring up any CCTV that look over the north wall and give me footage of the times the other sightings"

Several folders popped up on the desktop; the first four showed nothing. Tony opened the fifth Spider-woman immediately popped into view she climbed down three stories down and two windows from the right and into a window. Tony pulled up the blueprints and looked at three stories down and two from the right. The window opened into the women's toilets. Meaning no footage of her coming in. tony looked into the blueprints and noticed a camera that pointed directly at the door to the bathroom.

"Bring up footage of camera 18 thirty minutes from the original feed" Tony was deep in it now nothing could disrupt his focus. "Look for anyone that match up with multiple times"

"There is one match sir, would you like me to run facial recognition?"

An image opened on the screen.

"Yea-No friday that's fine" Tony didn't need facial recognition. He knew exactly who he was looking at. Violet Tides.
