Chapter 2

Nirin's POV

When he turn his head in my direction, he gave me a small smile that made my heart beat so damn fast. I was so stunned because that was the first smile he showed me. We meet every day but he doesn't notice me because he is always busy with books and sometimes has different girls walking with him if Mac and Teo are away.

"You want to relax, too?"his voice made me back to reality and look at him,"come here, sit with me."when he saw that i didn't move, he smirked,"gonna stand there for the whole time?"

I blink multiple times before walking slowly and when I got close to the bench where he was sitting, i sit on the end of the bench. I look at him and he's still reading a book, he's always like that.

A few minutes later, he look up and sigh heavily while his eyes are closed.

"Look around, don't look at me."I realized that i've been looking at him for a while. I want to say that i'm not looking at him but i know he will call me liar because he already saw me looking at him.

"S-sorry"

He look at me with a smile."You are Darika and Nyx's cousin, right?"my eyebrow raised but i just nod,"i just heard that from anyone because students here are talking about you now."

That made me frown."Why are they talking about people who did nothing but keep quiet?"

I saw him chuckle a little."Where did you came from? Cave?"

"The fu-"I immediately covered my mouth because i almost said that bad word."sorry about that. I didn't mean-"

"It's okay, it's normal to curse. But not everytime."i smiled

After that, we talk a lot of things and especially his life. We ended laughing out of silly things. He told me about Mac and Teo's embarrassing moment that made me laugh so hard but stop when i feel like my breath will stop. He ask what happened but i just said that it's normal. I don't know but after we talked it was like we knew each other already.

We decided to leave the garden and go to the Cafeteria here in Campus. We ordered We're didn't stop talking until my phone rang.

"I'll answer this first."he smile and nodded. I stand up and go out first before i answer the call,"yes mom?"

"How's my baby?"i smiled when she call me baby again."are you okay there?"

"Yes, mom, i'm really okay. You always call me everyday."I looked inside the Cafeteria where Zayden was sitting. I saw him reading a book again.

"Okay, fine. I just wanna remind you that you need to take your vitamins now because i know you sometimes forget to drink."I bit my lower lip because i totally forgot to take my vitamins just now because i'm talking with Zayden."bye, baby. See you later~"

"Yes, mom. Bye"

"Drink your vitamins now."

"I will"after that,the call ended and i entered the Cafeteria again and immediately sat down and looked for my medicine in the bag I was carrying.

"What are you looking for?"Zayden ask.

"My vitamins"I answered, still looking for the vitamins. When i saw it, i get my water and drink it and look at Zayden. He's still reading his book.

"What's that book all about?"i ask that made him look up and look at me.

He smile."it's about plants"

"You're an agriculture student?"i surprisingly ask.

He nodded."You wanna know something about plants?"i nodded excitedly,"excited, huh?"

"Ofcourse mister,i'm always excited to know more."a manly smile appears on my lips and i saw him look away and gulp. Is he thirsty?

"Do you want to drink something?"i ask but he shook his head,"you sure?"he nodded. weirdo

"Nirin!"i look at the door of the cafeteria and i saw Nyx. He walk to us and when he saw Zayden, his one eyebrow raised,"why are you with him? Did he do something? Are you okay? Wait let me see your skin maybe you have cuts-"

"Nyx, he's okay. I didn't do anything bad."Zayden cut him off.

"You better be, he can't get a wound or even scratch on his skin!"Nyx said angrily.

I grab Nyx's hand."Nyx, we're just talking about something, no need to worry."

"Are you sure?"i nodded,"i want to be with you but i have class, I need to go back."he look at Zayden,"i don't really trust you, so just take him to Darika."

Zayden just stared at him blankly."I will"

Nyx patted my shoulder."I still don't trust him."he whispered and then he leaves.

After a minute of silence, Zayden spoke."Why?"

"What do you mean why?"i ask curiously.

"Why are they so protective? Are you sick or something?"he ask, worry is visible in his eyes.

I want him to know but i just can't."N-no, i'm not sick. What are you talking about?"i fake a laugh.

He look at me seriously and then look at his book again."Yeah, whatever."

"Ohh"i look at the book he's reading."you're going to teach me about plants, right?"

He look at me and he nodded then get back to reading. He said that he loves reading books but he didn't say that he love to read that kind of book. Is he a bipolar or something? His mood always change like crazy. We've known each other just a few hours but i already know him. His favorites and he likes to tease if he's in the mood. He loves to go to gym and don't like sweet.

"Are you bored?"he ask without looking at me,"I will take you to Darika if you want."

"No thanks, i'm good. I still want to cake or something."

We stay there without worrying about the class we missed in one day. He said that he already texted his other classmates that he can't go to class.

His mood change again and he invited me to go to the mall and I agreed because I had never been there before.

"You really don't know much out there."he chuckled.

That made me pout."You know that i home schooled all of my life! Don't made fun of me or i will kick your ass!"he zippered his mouth and we continue shopping.

He buy me some clothes like jogger, cargo pants, t-shirts and also a business type suit even i totally said that i don't want him to buy them for me because it's freaking expensive! A hundred thousand for a t-shirt? Nah! I'd rather buy food instead.

I don't really understand Zayden because we only meet a while ago but he buys me everything he saw that he said suits on me. And then he became cold again but we go to the bakeshop and he buys me a cake. I told him not to pay but he's so hard-headed to listen. What a bipolar he is....
