Chapter 37

Cam POV

Riley, shay, and their other friends quickly left to their car after Riley told Mari we were married.

Honestly I don't see the problem but apparently she does with how she was holding the gun at me looking me dead in my eyes.

"Your married?" "I mean yeah no yes." I said nervously my eyes flickering to her eyes then to the barrel of the gun that's pointed at my shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me?" "It wasn't important or it just didn't come up." I said shrugging.

She squinted her eyes at me then went in the house with me following behind her.  "Why must you hide things from me." "I honestly forgot." I'm scared of her right now. She likes to hurt people when she's mad.

"First everybody's pregnant by you, now your married." She said shaking her head. She turned and the next thing I knew was I was dodging things. "CHILLL!" I yelled/dragged out.

"FUCK YOU!" She yelled throwing glass at me. "Shit." I groaned out as the glass pierced my leg. She stopped and ran to me. "Damn my bad you was supposed to dodge it." "You fucking crazy!" I said holding the spot.

"You make me crazy. Does it hurt?" I looked at her like she was stupid.

"Right of course it does. It's yo fault you know I got aim." Not her blaming me. A victim.

"You shouldn't be throwing glass. We agreed on that." We made an agreement that when she gets really mad at me she can throw things at me. Anything but glass.

"You should've told me you were married." She retorted.

"I fucking forgot!"

"How do you forget?!?!"

"Well when you've married an abuser and manipulator you tend to forget somethings."

She went silent and stared at me. "You never told me that either!" She said waving her arms around.

"Again you've never asked!!!"

"You look like shit." She told me. "Yeah I know." I deadpanned. "What happened." "Riley came over fucked my car up then told Mari were married."

"Married? You never said anything about that." Ana said. "I had forgotten that I was." I told her laying on her bed.

"What was her reaction?" "She started throwing shit. You know how we had that agreement?" "Yeah the no throwing glass one but you could throw anything else?" "Yeah that one, anyway she threw glass at me and it cut my leg."

Ana twisted her face up. "Okay so all that happened. What about my food?" "What food?" She looked at me in disbelief.

She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth. "You gotta make it up to her." "I know I'ma just let her cool down for right now then I'll make it up to her." "How you gon do it?"

"Flowers, chocolates, gifts, and an apology." "Mari lucky to have you."

"I know right I'm the best." I said with a smirk.

"You not but ight. How's that song coming along?" "Going real good. You wanna hear some of the lyrics I got down?"

"Yeah."

I opened my phone to the app where I could hear my song recordings.

"This all I got for right now." She nodded and I pressed play.

We heard then i pressed pause. Ana was smiling hella big. "Yo honestly that's amazing. You should probably add sumn like 'cause she hold me down every time I hit up.' "

I nodded my head. 'spend whatever on it cause she hold me down every time I hit up.' I whispered out loud.

"Okay okay look at youuuu." I nodded my head smiling writing it down in my notes app. 'when I get right I promise that we gon live it up.' I sung out. My brain braining right now.

"Whatchu gon use this song for?" "Ion know yet. I just know it's gon be big and I don't think I'll release it yet." I told her and she nodded.

"You got any weed?" I asked forgetting who I was talking too. Ana scrunched her face up. "Ion smoke." "Yeah my bad. I'ma go hang out with my brother. Text me if you need sumn and I'll just cash app you it." She nodded and said bye.

I went over and kissed her stomach saying bye to my lil peanut in her stomach.

I turned my phone off then started heading to the basketball court. I was in basketball shorts and a black t-shirt so I didn't need to change.

The basketball court was by my dad house in Compton so I had to drive on the other side of town. I wouldn't say it's dangerous but it's not safe.

"Mari." "Hm?" "Here." She turned on her back and I gave her the flowers and gifts and chocolates. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was married that was wrong of me not to tell you. Will you forgive me?"

Mari had a wide smile plastered across her face. "I half forgive you." "Why?" "Because i want a fairy penguin and you don't have that."

"It's to hot down here for penguins." "There's some penguins that live in warm weather." "Oh yeah? And where am I supposed to get one?" "Ion know figure it out. I either want a penguin or a bunny."

I took off my shirt and my sweatpants. I had taken a shower at Lucas's house and borrowed his clothes.

"I'll get you the bunny." I told her and she squealed then came up and hugged me.

"Thank you."

"Mhm I gotta go brush my teeth."
