"That is a dead body," Alex states, as Tommy throws the tarp off the back of the car, a man laying their bloodied with four shovels on top of him, Alex turns to her elder brother, "why the fuck do we have to bury a dead body? I thought we were meant to be on a holiday."
"The holiday begins... once we've buried him, grab a shovel," Tommy laughs, clapping a hand on his sisters shoulder, as she roughly jabs her elbow into his ribs.
Arthur and John were in nearby woodlands taking a piss.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I did - Irish business, remember?" Tommy groans, rubbing his stomach.
"I thought it was to do with racing, possibly swaying the police, not fucking murder, Tom, you should have told me," Alex says.
"Alright, the Irish wanted me to kill him," Tommy shrugs.
"Thomas - with the mood I am currently in; do you think that is the comment to make?" Alex replies.
"Well put all the anger elsewhere, perhaps into building a grave deep enough so nobody discovers his body and your favourite brother doesn't get arrested," Tommy responds.
"You're not my favourite brother," Alex states, grabbing a shovel.
-
"So who is your favourite brother?" Tommy asks, as they approach the Eden club.
"What?" Alex responds.
"You said it wasn't me, who is it?" Tommy says.
"Yeah, who is it?" John smiles cheekily.
"Don't get your hopes up John Boy," Alex replies.
"It's obviously me," Arthur states, throwing an arm round his sisters shoulder, offering her a cigarette.
She takes the cigarette before removing his arm, "it's not you, Arthur."
"So it's Finn?" Tommy questions.
"Still didn't say that," Alex responds.
"You said it wasn't one of us three, that means it has to be Finn," Arthur states.
"Who says I don't have another brother?" Alex replies.
"Does Vanessa have a son?" Tommy questions.
"Fuck if I should know," Alex says, "I don't have a favourite brother, do you guys have a favourite sister?"
"Yeah, you," Arthur states without hesitation, "shit, don't tell Ada I said that."
"Let the festivities begin," Tommy says, leading them into the establishment.
John and Arthur made a show of glaring at all the men that dared to glance in Alex's direction, causing her to roll her eyes, "you gentlemen are aware that I am a lesbian, right?"
"Only half a lesbian," John corrects.
"Alright, you do know I have a girlfriend?" Alex responds.
"Yes, but they don't, and if you think we're letting any of these scumbags come near you, we should schedule you in for a room at an asylum," Arthur mumbles, as they progress further into the club, settling down round a table near the stage at the front.
"Fucking hell, I recognise a few of these lads," John chuckles, looking around, "everybody in here is a fucking face."
"That's Sabinis cousin over there," Arthur states.
"That's right, Arthur, it's Sabinis club," Tommy replies.
"Fucking hell," Alex says, her eyes meeting a man's across the room, he was smirking at her.
