Hayley decided to go home. She would only talk to Sam through texting. She was trying to keep calm for Harlie but again, she felt heartbroken and betrayed. She was laying in bed when she got a text. It read.

Are you ok? - Sam

You're kidding right? - Hayley

Are you taking care of yourself? - Sam

Yes. What kind of question is that? - Hayley

I'm just concerned about you. - Hayley

I'm not gonna do anything to myself. I'd never hurt Harlie. - Hayley

I know you wouldn't. - Sam

Let me call you. - Sam

No. - Hayley

I want to hear your voice. - Sam

To bad. - Hayley

We're talking when I get home tomorrow. - Sam

Fine. - Hayley

I love you. - Sam

She didn't respond.

At around four o'clock the next afternoon Sam walked the door.

"I'm home." He said. Hayley was sitting on the couch. He sat down next to her. "Hi."

"Hi." She looked sad. "Do you still want to get married."

"As of right now, I don't know."

"Do you still love me?"

"Of course I love you." "That's why this hurts so much."

"What can I do?" "I'll do anything." "Before you remembered, we were happy." "I want to get back to that."

"What would you think about couples therapy?"

"Whatever it takes."

"Dr. Sullivan can see us tomorrow."

"Ok." She got up. "Where are you going?"

"Upstairs." "That's all the talking you're getting today." She went upstairs. Sam hoped they could fix things.
