Hayley had just finished breakfast. Just as she was about to clear the table her phone rang.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi." Sam said.
"Hi."
"What are you doing?"
"We just finished breakfast."
"How many weeks are you now?"
"Eleven."
"One more month until we can find out what it is right?"
"Yeah."
"I'm so excited."
"Me to."
"I know this will surprise you but I want a girl."
"You do?"
"Yeah I know we'd have a beautiful little girl "
"I want a girl to." "I know either way he or she will be a daredevil and torture me."
Sam laughed. "Probably."
"The baby will probably want to jump off our roof by the time it's two."
"Well you know I'm teaching it to skate as soon as I can, right?
"Yeah."
"I gotta go." "I'll call back later." "Tell the baby daddy loves it."
"I will." "Bye."
"Bye." They hung up.
She put her hand on her stomach.
"Daddy says he loves you." She said.
As Hayley was doing the dishes, she accidentally got herself with the sink sprayer. That triggered a memory.
Flashback
Hayley was doing the dishes.
"Hey baby." She heard Sam say from behind her.
"Hi." She said smiling. He quickly grabbed the sprayer and sprayed her a little. "You bastard."
Sam was laughing. "I'm sorry." "Come here."
"No."
"Please."
She turned to him. "Thanks to you I have to go change my shirt."
"I can help." They kissed.
End Of Flashback
She smiled at the memory but immediately felt strange.
"Why did I smile?" She thought. "I don't feel anything for Sam."
Later that night Hayley just laid down to go to bed.
I miss Sam." She thought suddenly. Wait why would I be missing Sam?" She thought confused.
