Hayley was starting her storyline with Sam. When she woke up that morning, her stomach was in knots and she felt very sick. She went to the bathroom and threw up.
Get it together." She thought looking in the bathroom mirror. "You only have one segment with him tonight." " I have to kiss him." "That'll be the hardest part."
Later that night Hayley had just gotten to the arena. She kept telling herself over and over again that she could do it. The next pay-per-view wasn't for two months. In that timeframe Hayley and Sam were going establish as the top heel couple. Hayley went to the Women's Locker Room.
"Ready for tonight?" Britt asked.
"No but I have to be."
"You don't have to do this."
"Yes I do." "Do you know how unprofessional it would've looked if I'd said no?"
"What about your mental health?"
"I'm fine." She saw Priscilla come in. She picked up her water bottle she brought with her and took a big drink. When she was sure no one was watching her, she ate a handful of breath mints.
Sam was surprised when Hayley came up to him in catering.
"Any particular way you want to play out our kiss out there?" She asked.
"Well this won't be our first, so that helps." "We just have to remember to look evil when we're done."
"I can do that."
Later that night Brandi and Cody Runnels (Rhodes) went out for his match. As they stood at the top of the ramp. Hayley and came out, with Hayley attacking Brandi and Sam attacking Cody. Afterwards when they were beaten down. Hayley and Sam looked at each other and shared a long passionate kiss. There was was no acting in it. They were both enjoying it. The crowd booed as they had sinister looks on their faces
They went to the back.
"That was fun." Sam said..
"Bye."
"Wait." "I know the difference between a work kiss and a real one." "You wanted that as much as I did."
"I gotta go." She walked away. When she went back to the locker room. She took another big drink from her water bottle, followed by another handful of breath mints. The contents of the bottle have gone. What no one but Hayley knew was what was inside wasn't water. It was vodka.
"I bet you'd be proud of me daddy." She thought. "You always said I'd end up just like you."
