She's My Little Sister

I woke up the next day to someone arguing. I opened my eyes groggily as I looked into my room.

Empty... What the heck?

I hear the yelling coming from the hallway again so I get up and quietly tip toe to my door making sure they couldn't hear. I hear the voice again and right away I know it's Calum.

"It's my fucking sister mate! How could you do this to me? I mean you seriously don't know what your getting into with her.... she's been through so much."

"Cal, you aren't blind.... you know I have feelings for her. And, I actually do know what she's been through. "

"What did you just say?" I held my breath hoping he wouldn't freak out on Luke..... He doesn'tdeserve this, he really just wants what's best for me. They both do.

Then I heard Luke start to speak again. Lord bless his soul. "Shay.... she told me what happened to her. Listen Cal. I get that your mad and afraid that I'll hurt her but I would never do that. She's the first thing since my parents divorce that actually made me happy. I get if you don't approve of us but, I'm not leaving her. You will just have to deal with it because Calum, I might be in love with her."

I felt like every thing was in slow motion. Did he really just say that? I open the door not even caring if they see me anymore. I watch as they both look at me like a deer in headlights. I then look at Calum and it all just floods out.

"Calum, I love him." They both look at me like i've grown two heads.

"I love this tall blonde dork that probably still sleeps with a stuffed penguin but.... it's ok to me because all I see when I look at him is that bright smile and perfect blue eyes that I could stare at for hours like I'm looking into the sky." I looked up again and they still had a confused look on their faces.

"I 've always had a major crush on him, and Cal I'm pretty sure you've know that. If you haven't yet then I think we need to get you glasses because I'm seriously stumbling head over heals for this guy and the feelings just keep getting stronger." I start to feel the feeling of tears form in my eyes as I continued.

"After yesterday..... I told him everything and it felt great to get off my chest. It always made me realize that I had fallen in love with this incredible guy also. That I love him so much that it actually hurts. I know that I made a promise not to date and have feelings for your band members but I couldn't help it. Since you know.... I fell in love with him before I even realized what was happening."

I look up at Cal tears running down my face hoping to get him to understand and support my feelings. And sure enough I was greeted by a smiling Calum holding his arms out for me to hug him.

I immediately ran into them and wrapped my arms around his neck nuzzling my face into the crook of his neck.

After a minute we broke apart "Shay I'm so sorry for making you feel like you had to hide your feelings. "

I smiled at him taking his hand in mine " it's fine Cal, sorry for breaking the promise."

"Oh don't worry about that stupid promise."

I give him one last hug before turning to Luke hoping for the same reaction.

He smiled that amazing, bright smile, then came over to me picking me up and spinning me around a couple times before putting me back down and giving me a single kiss on the cheek.

We both turn around from the sound of Calum clearing his throat..... here it comes.

"Ok love birds, no PDA in front of me please. I will puke for sure when I see it." We all laugh other than Calum who has a very serious look on his face.

Luke made an awkward coughing sound before saluting Cal trying not to burst out laughing while doing so.

Cal then looked back at Luke taking him by the shoulder so that he was looking him straight in the eye.

"Now hemmings, lets get this straight. I love you like a brother but if you hurt my little sister one time, I swear to god I will get you shipped to a remote island where you will live for the rest of your life. Got it?" Luke shook his head yes anxiously making a gulping sound in his throat.

"Ok well that's all I have to say so.... have fun with eachother and just stay protected please. We don't want another Hemmings running around just yet" Calum says giving us a wink and laughing at his own comment.

"Thanks for the advise" I say back rolling my eyes annoyed.

"Anytime sis, so I'm actually going to go on a date in a couple hours so you guys are by yourselves for a few hours so see you then, and don't burn the house down."

I laugh at the thought of Calum on a date but I don't say anthing so instead I just wave goodbye and drag Luke into my room to watch Teenwolf with me for the rest of this already eventful day.
