With Christmas just around the corner, Brena was set up to start her next adventure. The only problem was, was that now Remus and Peter were tied into keeping her company.
The vomiting lasted only a week or two, just long enough for Regulus to find out and tell James and Sirius. Essentially, pissing Brena off even more.
None of the boys brought up the prospect of pregnancy like the female Black had. But that didn't mean that Brena had stopped thinking of it.
Talvi had mentioned it as well, which only drove the thought further into her mind.
It wasn't possible....right? Now would not be the time. The war going on and the whole soul rejecting situation was already too much for the young girl to handle. Not to mention she was supposedly still in school. Although, McGonagall had pointed out she was set to graduate a whole year early.
Today was a special day though. Peter Pettigrew was the one sitting in the room with her when Brena came to conclusion to take care of the next Horcrux.
With neither of her...lovers.. near her, she won't have any distractions nor would anyone be worrying over her. And Peter was easy to persuade to keep his mouth shut.
"Are you sure this can't wait until after the holidays? I- I don't think I shouls be the one to help... maybe Remus or-or James." Peter stammered as Brena paced in the hallway on the seventh floor of Hogwarts.
"Peter, you are perfect for this. Please stop underestimating yourself." Brena told him for the umpteenth time. Slowly feeling her patience dwindling with the boy.
She may have decided to try and suade him away from the dark side, but she still didn't care for the boy. He was a rat. Not metaphorically, but legitimately. And she really didn't like rats. It was nothing against him thougj. He didn't choose his animagis.
"But we've been looking for this room for- an hour.. maybe it's on another floor?" He tried. He really didn't feel comfortable with doing this. Aside from the keeping it from gis friends part, he just had a bad feeling.
Dark magic wasn't something to play with. And he knew his future. He knew that he was tempted to save his mum by going to help the dark lord.
But he trusted Brena. He knew the girl would be what could save not only him, but the whole wizarding world altogether. She had the strength and willpower he wished he had.
Peter dropped his train of thought as a door seemingly appeared from nowhere. Brena stopping her pace with a huge grin.
"Brilliant." She muttered before grabbing the boys sweaty hand and yanking him to follow her inside.
