chapter 7

(SORA'S POV)

(Buzz,buzz)
I grab my phone and open the text fromJames.

(Text)

James: Malik is here, meet us in the study.

Me: be there in five.

I put my pants on and go to the study. I can see james behind his desk and Malik in the chair in front of him.

I walk over and lean on the front of the desk.

Sora I want to apologize again for my behavior, I thought I had better control. Malik hangs is head in disappointment.

That's why we feed, the blood thirst gets harder to control when you've gone a while without it. James looks at Malik then to me. The other night could have happened to anyone of us.

I understand how hard it can be to control the thirst besides Reya's okay so I'll put this behind us.
I look at Malik and we shake hands.
I turn to leave out the room when corbin and renee walk in.

Sora we need to talk to you about something.
I look at renee with a confused look, about what?

The other night, when reya hit her head, it was hard trying to control the thirst around her even tho we all had just fed before the party, Renee says walking to James side.

You didn't feel the pull? the urge? Corbin asked looking at me confused.

I-I um
Yes he did, Renee says looking me in my eyes. you can't say you didn't Sora, reya saw your eyes change and your fangs.

WHAT! WHEN! s-she passed out.

She told resse and I when we went to check on her that night, we brushed it off as her hitting her head.

So what does this mean? Why was it so hard for us to control the thirst with her?

I've been doing some digging, and I keep coming across this one story about a witch who created the first vampires.

Story go's that this witch lived outside of a small village in Salem with her two children. They were constantly attacked when ever they went into the village, they accused her of black magic. One night her son was taken and killed by the villagers. That night she cast a powerful blood spell bringing her son back from the dead, but he came back different and thirsty for blood. He ended up taking revenge on the village and turning her daughter thus creating the first vampire's.

So what, you think reya is a descendant of this witch? I look at renee then to James, James nods his head yes.

It explains alot, Renee says. I work as a nurse and I've never found it hard to control myself around blood. Maybe the thirst is so powerful because their blood runs through her.

If you're going to be with her, you need to tell her James says to me in a stern voice. It's the only way to keep her safe, Renee says patting my sholder.

What if she doesn't believe me? What if she rejects me after I tell her? I let out a sigh, what if I scare her away?

Hey, we all had different reactions when we found out, corbin says walking over to renee. When I met resse I thought she'd freak out, but she didn't she was cool with it.

I didn't exactly take it as smooth as corbin and resse when James told me, but I couldn't imagine a life without him. She leans in and kisses James.

No matter what happens sora we are here for you and reya corbin says putting a hand on my back.

BUT! James says standing to his feet, you do need to tell her.

I will tell her I just need some time.
I get up and go back to my room.

How do I tell her I am what I am I'm not even sure what the hell is going on with us, was last night a mistake, what does that mean for us now
