chapter 10

(Reya's pov)

I decided to open the café for a few hours, I read the birthday card Maggie would have given me today. I really miss her.

Huuuuh I let out a sigh and continue to count the register. Shortly after I hear the bells on the door sound, I look up and see resse and renee walking in.

Time to gooooo which means this Needs to go to this, resse says flipping the open sign to closed.

Ok give me a few minutes to lock up the back I'll meet you guys in the car I say walking to the back.

I checked everything making sure everything was off, I hear the bells in the front again.

Resse what did you leav- oh I'm sorry we're closed sir, I say to a guy standing by the counter.

Oh the sign said open, he says nodding his head to the door.

Huh I look to the door confused, didn't resse change that. I brush it off and look at the man he is about 5'10 light brown almond shaped eyes, locks that reach his neck, and he's covered from the neck downwith tattoos he also has small J tattooed under his left eye. He's quite attractive.

Oh well I'm closed but I can get you something quick.

No that's okay I wouldn't want to keep you, he looks at me and gives me a smirk, you are quite beautiful my name is Jay.

Nice to meet you Jay I'm Reya, now I must be leaving I turn to grab my bag and we leave out. As I locked the door Jay gives me a smile, he has such a beautiful smile. You should let me take you out sometime Ms. Reya

O-oh um I'm actually seeing someone, I say giving him a smile.

What a lucky man, he winks at me and walks away. I get in the car and we head to the house.

So reya any plans tonight? Renee asks me.

No not really.

Well come out and have drinks with us tonight pleeeeeeasssseeee resse says with her hands folded and pouting her lip.

I don't know,

Oh come on reya please, don't make me do the pouty face with resse, Renee says looking at me through the rear view mirror.

Oh fine I'll go, yeeeeesssss they both shout. They drop me off at the house so I can shower and get ready.

I shower and do my make up. I'm not in the mood to do anything to my hair so I just wear my curls down.
I throw on a cute pink crop top and a black leather minni skirt and a cute pair of pink heels.
I hear a horn beep outside I look out my window and it's resse and renee. I grab my purse and phone and head out the door.

So where are we going? I ask as we pull off.

Oh it's a new spot that opened up I think it's called the red room resse says while taking a picture.
About 30 minutes later we pull up to the club and find a park.

Once inside We grab a booth by the stage and dance floor, we order a few drinks and listen to the music for a while.

Let's dance resse says pulling me out the booth. I grab Renee's hand and we all go on the dance floor. We dance to a few songs and then the dj put on a song by Sean Paul. Resse looks at me with a big ass grin.

Let's do our dance she grabs my hand and we move to the middle of the dance floor.
We start to wind our bodies to the beat as we dance everyone was hyping us up, I knew we was killing it. When the song is done we walk back to the booth.
Once we finish our drinks we decided it was time to go. As we're leaving out I see the guy Jay from earlier.

Hey reya, he says approaching me.

Oh Jay hello. Have you been inside yet? It's really nice and the music is great.

He chuckles and looks at me with his gorgeous smile, actually its my club, I appreciate the compliment. Are you sure you don't want to stay a little longer? He asks looking me up and down.

Come on reya! Resse calls out to me from the car.
I turn to her direction and hold up a finger.

I turn back to Jay, sorry about that very impatient best friend of mine.

It's fine I understand maybe next time  you'll  let me give you a tour, he says giving me a seductive smirk and an eyebrow raised.

Maybe, I say blushing i hurry and walk towards renee and resse.
I get in the car and we go home. I shower and get in bed falling into a restless sleep.

This is a chapter just to introduce our new character Jay because he will be playing a role throughout the rest of the story.
