Chapter 7 Silence

(Lola's POV)

Frederick hadn't said, not one word to me, sense we had gotten into the car

It was pure silence

It was too much for me....the silence

I couldn't stand it

"Frederick?" I asked, looking over to his chiseled structure

He didn't answer me and he kept his eyes focused on the street

"Frederick?" I asked again

Silence

I decided not to push it, so I just faced forwards and waited for us to arrive at his house

5 minutes later, we were parked outside of Frederick's apartment complex

"Get out" he said, sternly

For I could respond, he was already out the door and closing up behind him

I sighed loudly and did as I was told

"Okay" I mumbled, holding his jacket around my body

I opened the car door and closed it silently behind me, following Frederick into his apartment

"Frederick?" I asked, as he stopped walking, infront of his kitchen

He came to a hault and I could see his shoulders, rising and falling

"Frederick?" I asked again

There was a long silence and then Frederick turned around and stomped over to me

"What the hell is wrong with you?" He asked, not giving me enough time to respond "Why would you ever put yourself in the position, where men could take advantage of you?" He shouted, grabbing my arms and shaking me hard and fast, as if to shake a demon out of me

"I-"

"No! You could have been hurt! What if I hadn't gotten their in time? What if that man..." he started, slowly releasing my arms

"But he didn't" I found my voice

"But what if he had?" Frederick's voice became low and desperate

The jacket he had placed over me earlier, was still wrapped tightly around me

It wasn't until his gray eyes met mine, that I made a very important decision

"Kiss me" I said, looking deep into his eyes

Frederick's eyes widened and he completely froze

"What?" He asked me, taking a step back

I sighed and took a step forwards

"Kiss me" I repeated, bringing my hand up to his face and caressing his cheek with my thumb

Frederick's eyes instantly closed

He took a deep breath and sighed, wrapping his arms around my waist

"I missed you" he said, but I couldn't wait any longer

I giggled, shaking my head

"You talk to much" I grumbled and reached up to connect our lips together

Our lips moved in sync, fitting perfectetly together

The whole world around us, seemed crumble away and nothing else mattered, but the two of us

"Lola" Frederick said, parting his lips from mine

I didn't answer, I just waited for him to continue, but he didn't say anything, he just held onto me
