Sequel Chapter 1: The Springtime Ball preparations

<<<ELSA'S POV>>>

I wake up in the bed on my own. I sigh heavily. Jack had to return to Overland, because of a few problems, but that was 1 month ago. Jackie wanted to go with him too. I hope Jack will make the Springtime ball tonight.

Today is the 21st March which means it's the first day of Spring. Anna will be holding the 'Springtime ball'. Punzie will be doing the 'Summertime ball' which is in June. Merida will be holding the 'Autumntime ball' in September. Then, me doing the 'Wintertime ball' in December. We usually do a certain, surprise theme, but this year it isn't secret, but we don't know what it's like.

I take a quick shower and dry my hair. I wrap the towel around myself and go to my walk-in wardrobe. I wonder what dress shall I wear today?

A long black dress? Too dark for a Springtime ball! Knee-length blue dress? As much as I love blue, Anna would say it's too much to do with Winter. Red ankle dress? Not exactly my colour.

Anna comes running in. She jumps up and down excitedly. Anna looks at my dresses. She knows when I need help! Sister senses, as Punzie calls them. Anna pasted me a dress and ran out once again.

Anna is really excited to see Kristoff again. Kristoff is supposed to return too tonight. He had to leave to help his parents with royal meetings. Kristoff left about 2 weeks ago.

Hiccup had to leave DunBroch to return to Berk. There was a huge war and Hiccup didn't tell Merida. When Merida found out she cried her heart out.

Eugene too, had to leave Punzie to help townspeople in the Fitzherbert Isles. I will soon become Queen Elsa of Arrendelle.

I get dressed into the dress Anna gave me. It's a strapless gold and cream dress that is just above my knee.

I look at myself in the mirror. Time for my hair. I think of doing my hair in my signature French braid, but... I don't think it'll go with my dress. Luna ran in. A daughter instinct I bet.

"Mommy! You can do your hair in you coronation bun," Luna suggested.

"Thanks, sweetie!" I smile.

Luna ran out smiling and squealing. I miss Jack so much! I hope he can make it to Anna's special 'Springtime ball'. I do my hair and Luna was right! It's absolutely perfect! I add a few gold rose clips in my hair.

I look for jewellery to wear. I wear some small white pearl earrings and a cream coloured pearl necklace. I slip on the bracelet Jack gave me. I slip on some glittery, gold 3 inch high heels. I was about to leave my room.

"Oops! Almost forgot!" I giggle.

I walk about over to my vanity. Anna got me a specialised gold crown with white pearls. I slip it on and smile. Now, I'm all ready for Anna's 'Springtime ball'.

I walk out of my room and into Luna's room. Luna is looking at all the different dresses. I smile and Luna sees me.

"Mommy, can you help me please?" Luna asks pouting.

"Of course, sweetheart!" I smile warmly.

I pick the small floral ankle dress. Luna quickly gets changed into it and squeals. I let her hair fall loosely. Luna asks for a coronation bun. I don't refuse, because she looks ever so cute with one.

"Thanks, Mommy!" Luna giggles.

"Your welcome, sweetie," I smile.

I slip the crown on Luna's head. Hers is like mine, but in silver. She giggles. I was just about to walk out to help Snow when Luna called me.

"Mommy?" Luna says.

"Yes?" I reply.

"Do you think Jackie and Daddy will be here?" Luna asks curiously.

"I think they will!" I smile widely.

I leave Luna's room with her chanting 'I'm gonna see Daddy and Jackie' over and over. I hope they do get back... I miss my husband and son so much!

I walk into Snow's room. Snow is now 1! She is adorable I have to admit. She sure has my elegance as Anna says.

Snow is playing with building blocks. She hasn't said her first word yet! I can't wait for that to happen. It's so heart-warming.

"Snow! Time to get ready!" I smile.

Snow just giggles. She's so adorable! I pinch her cheeks and she giggles even more. I walk over to Snow's walk-in wardrobe. I wonder what dress to give Snow... That's it! White!

I go to her cute, tiny dresses. She has at least 25 white ones. I pick out the one with a floral hem around the bottom. I do Snow's hair into a little coronation bun. She is biting the crown. I giggle at her. I wipe the crown and slip it onto her bun.

"All done!" I say.

Snow giggles. I pick her up and take her to the play room. It's on the first floor of the castle. Snow's room is on the third floor just like all the other bedrooms.

"Daddy and Jackie are gonna return, yes they are!" I coo.

I put Snow in the bouncy chair. I kiss her forehead leaving her to play. I ask Mom to watch her a moment. Mom says it's fine.

"Anna?" I call out.

I hear rapid footsteps. Anna is right in front of me now. She is smiling widely.

"Anna, Chesire Cat asked for his smile back!" I joke.

Me and Anna laugh. I look at her dress and smile. Hers is similar to mine. I bet, she planned this.

"You planned our dresses similar, didn't you?" I ask laughing.

"Yes, all the way!" Anna smiles.

"Excited to see Kristoff and Amber?" I ask.

"I miss them so much!" Anna sighed.

"Well, I need to go to the ballroom to get the ball set up! Bye sis!" Anna squeals.

Anna runs off. Kristoff requested he'd take Amber. Anna agreed after a while, but it was disagreements at first. I walk to the docks. I'm waiting for the arrival of Elinor, Fergus, Hamish, Hubert, Harris, Merida, Henrietta, Edward, Primrose, Rapunzel and Hazel.

I see a ship come into view with view. The sails are red. MERIDA! I look around checking no one is here. No body is around and I squeal in delight.

"ELSA!" I hear Merida shout happily.

"MERIDA!" I shout happily.

The ship docks and Merida runs to me. We hug tightly just lucky that Elinor is holding little Henrietta's hand! Merida is wearing a green dress with a pink belt. Merida's hair is straightened too! I really can't believe it!

"Wow, Mer! I didn't think you'd wear the dress!" I say shocked.

"Mum forced me..." Merida sighed annoyed.

Henrietta comes over running away from Hamish, Hubert and Harris. It's funny how she can run. She is 2 and can speak, but not 100%.

"Mommy!" Henrietta squeals.

Henrietta runs behind Merida. Merida turns to her brother and they run off. Merida picks up Henrietta and smiles. Merida rubs her nose against Henrietta's nose.

"Nobody is going to get my little girl are they?" Merida coos.

"Aww!" I say.

It's nice to see Merida like this. She acts like a Princess, but Merida doesn't like being a Princess at all. It's stressful I will admit! I hope Jack makes it for the Springtime ball...
