"We need a plan."

The next day had come and gone with none of them leaving for school. Hizashi had called in sick, but he suspected Nezu knew what was up. It was only a matter of time before the facts got out, so they needed to work fast.

"It needs to be fool proof, and we have to stick to it." Hanta continued, prodding the table pointedly to solidify his point. Midoriya, Neito, and Hitoshi exchanged a glance, the latter shifting Eri on his lap as she furiously coloured in a picture of a flower, fully immersed in whatever music Hitoshi had blasting through his headphones for her.

"We need to start with what we know for sure." Hizashi brought a tray of tea to the table and distributed the cups. "We can't build off speculation. The plan will fall through without a solid foundation."

"Okay." Midoriya reached for his notebook and flipped to the back page. "Shoot."

"Blue Crossed has Dad." Hitoshi stated first.

"We don't know that." Neito muttered, gaze fixed on the table. "We knew they had him. It's been a year since anyone really saw him."

An eerie silence descended throughout the room. Midoriya's eyes flicked from one person to another, pen hovering just above the paper.

"Neito is right." Hizashi finally said. "A lot can change in a year."

Hanta inhaled sharply, hands clamped so tightly around his cup Midoriya thought it would crack under the pressure. Just like they would if they weren't careful.

"Blue Crossed is experimenting with Quirks." Hitoshi finally supplied. "The others being kept there had all kinds of powers. Plasma, teleportation, metal manipulation, to name a few." Midoriya nodded, jotting the point down. "They would run tests on us. Have us show how our Quirks worked. Then they knocked us out and we'd wake up in the cell again."

"You don't know what happened between the tests and cell?" Hanta asked. Hitoshi slowly shook his head.

"You never told us what Eri's Quirk is." Neito said, quieter than before. Hitoshi threaded his fingers through her hair, his touch lingering close to the small horn jutting out her head.

"It's... I heard them call it Rewind." He began, mirroring Neito's quietness. "From what I gathered, she can rewind a person's body to a previous state."

"Like... rewinding time?" Hizashi asked, taking a sip of his tea. There were bags under his eyes, and stubble scattered across his jaw and chin. When Hitoshi met his eye, it dawned on him just how much this past year had taken a toll on the Pro Hero. It was one thing to go through all the shit they had, but Hizashi had done so alone. He had ploughed on through life without knowing where his husband or son were - if they were even alive - all while caring for three other teens and trying desperately to hold their little misfit family together.

"It only works on living organisms." Hitoshi clarified. "Healing wounds, that kind of thing. It restores a person to a former state of living, if that makes sense. She makes their body younger."

"Huh." Neito murmured, a thoughtful crinkle in his brow. "Yeah, that makes sense."

"Alright, so, Izuku, what have we got so far?" Hizashi cleared his throat.

The boy in question set his pen down, frowning at the almost completely blank page in front of him. "Blue Crossed is targeting Quirk users."

"That's it?" Neito scoffed.

"No, we have an ally, that guy from the warehouse." Hanta corrected.

"Warehouse?" Hizashi echoed, frowning.
