I rush into the house and quickly slam the door shut, locking it.

I'm panting as I have my back against the door and I try to take deep breathes.

"Huh....huh....f*ck!" I scream out.

I hesitantly take my back off of the door and put the bags in the kitchen.

As I put them down, the pain in my cheek comes back with full force after my adrenaline rich came down.

I walk into the bathroom, turning on the light and see the bruise forming on my cheek.

"F*cking sh*t man..."

I need to hide this, quickly.

I run out of the bathroom to my room.

I go over to my dresser where I grab a black bag.

I go sit at my desk and open the bag to reveal my makeup.

I mostly use my makeup for shows and things - but occasionally I would have to use it to hide injuries.

I grab my concealer and fix my mirror that sits at the back of my desk.

"Alright, this is just like any other injury - just cover it up" I say to myself.

But now I'm at risk of Steve finding out.

I spread the makeup softly over the forming bruise - wincing ever once in awhile - but I endure it.

I then blend out the concealer with some powder like I would do for any performance and or coverup.

And just like that, my face is completely normal.

*Knock knock

I freeze at the sound of knocking on the door.

*Knock knock

I now stood in the doorframe of my room as I look over the railing, down towards the front door.

I grasp my pepper spray, tightly.

If it were Jason and his party, they wouldn't be knocking on the door...

I thought to myself as I walk down the stairs, cautiously.

I reach the door and look through the eye hole before I unlock the door, swinging it open - to grab Robin and shut the door once more.

"ROBIN you scared the actual SH*T OUT OF ME!" I scream.

"Why didn't you contact me?!"

"I literally DID, Eddie!" Robin screams back.

"I was calling the house phone for the last 15 minutes!"

"...oh"

"Eddie, what is going on?!"

I stare at Robin, nervously.

"Well...you see..."

Robin stares at me with concern in her eyes.

*sighs

"I ran into Jason and his friends when I went to get the party decorations..."

Robins eyes widen.

"Sh*t! Are you okay?! They didn't hurt - did they hurt you?!-"

"Robin I'm okay!! Don't worry I'm okay!" I say to her quickly, putting my hands on her shoulders.
