Just as I feel my eyes close for the final time, and Dustin's cries in the background, I could make out the faint sounds of feet and voices in the  distance.

"ROBIN, NANCY, STEVE!!!! HELP! HELP! HELP ME PLEASE! EDDIE IS HURT!" Dustin cries out.

Oh.

They all came.

The footsteps got closer and closer till I could suddenly hear everyone crystal clear.

"OH MY GOD EDDIE!!!"

"OH GOD-"

"HIS BLOOD IS-"

"OH MY-ROBIN DON'T LOOK! D-DON'T LOOK!"

"WE NEED TO GET HIM OUT OF HERE!!"

"ROBIN IF WE MOVE HIM HE'LL ONLY BLEED OUT MORE..B-but if we don't move him then h-he'll!-"

I could hear Robin and Nancy screaming and panicking.

I almost laugh.

I'm used to hearing Robin being the one panicking - not Nancy.

Then in a slow instance - I'm no longer in Dustin's arms.

I'm now being held in the arms of Steve Harrington.

The Steve Harrington.

"Shit. Shit shit shit SHIT!" Steve mutters but soon screams out as I can slightly make out him looking all over my beaten figure.

"Hey big boy.." I muster out.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO PLAY HERO! WHY!? WHY!!" Steve cries out, tears now streaming down his bloodied and beat up face.

"I had..to buy you guys some more...t-time" I manage to say.

Steve is looking down at me with defeated eyes and the girls are still screaming in the back - trying to figure out what to do now.

Then suddenly Steve's arms go from being around me, gently, to hooking under my legs and back.

Slowly, Steve hoists me into the air and he stands. I wince in pain and try not to cry out.

"What...are y-you doing Harrington!" I try to scream - but it comes out in almost a whisper.

"We're getting you to a hospital - Nancy, Robin - Dustin - get back to the gate now and make sure everything is still in tact and get ready to get us out of this hell-hole!" Steve orders.

I look over to the three of them, and they waste no time running towards my trailer.

"Harrington! What are you doing!! J-just put me down! Get yours-selves out of this f*cked up pla-"

"Do you really think we're going to leave you here, Munson!?"

I shut my mouth in shock.

Steve looks so hurt and he was trying to hold back his tears but they just kept coming down.

He stares deep into my eyes and I was at a loss of words. Steve starts to walk in the direction of my trailer - slowly.

"Harrington please- you can't carry me all the way back! I'm heavy-just leave me here-"

"Munson shut your mouth before I make you! And for the record- You're not heavy in the slightest!"

I shut my mouth once more.

I had forgotten that Steve was significantly taller, and more muscular than me. Instead of trying to fight him again, I let him carry me all the way back to my trailer.

Steve kicks the door open and we see that Nancy, Robin, and Dustin were indeed able to make a way out and back to our world.

"YOU MADE IT" Dustin cries and runs over to us.

"This is not the time for rejoicing Dustin! We need to get Munson out of here and to a hospital first!" Steve says, sternly.

"Steve's right! We need to get Eddie out of here- NOW!" Nancy says, we're all standing under the gate now.

Robin goes first, next Nancy - being caught by robin before she fell over. That just left, Steve, Dustin, and I.

"How are you supposed to g-get me through th-there?" I question them. I look up at Steve's face, and he is thinking hard before an idea registers in his brain.

"Dustin hold out your arms" Dustin does so, and Steve gently places me on my feet - and I weakly grab onto Henderson's shoulder.

Everything was spinning and my knees felt like Jell-O.

"Keep him steady, alright?" Steve says to Dustin, he nods and Steve turns to the rope.

I feel myself about to call out for Steve not to leave - but I stop myself before I let the thoughts get to my mouth.

He makes it over into the real world - in an almost graceful way - landing on his feet with ease.

"N-now what!?.." I force out.

Steve is still standing in view of the real world.

"Munson I know everything hurts - but I need you to climb the rope"

My eyes go wide.

"Harrington I c-can't!"

"Yes you can Munson! Dustin help him climb up!"

Dustin and I share a quick glance before he helps me hop over to the rope. I grab onto the rope weakly - but try to keep a tight grip as much as possible as Dustin kneels down to give me a leg up.

I gently step on his good leg and begin to pull myself up.

It hurt so much.

Everything felt like it was on fire.

"Come on Munson! You're almost there! You can do it!" Steve cheers.

I look up and stare at the three people looking back at me with worried - but hopeful eyes.

My face scrunches up as I push myself to pull myself up a few more times before Im right at the opening of the gate.

"W-what if I fall..?"

"I will catch you Munson. Trust me. You CAN trust me."

I stare into Steve's hazel eyes and they stare right back into mine.

"I won't let you fall."

With that, I took a deep, shaky breath and close my eyes.

I pull myself up one last time and I'm now falling through the gate - and I land in a pair of strong arms.

I open my eyes and I'm looking into Steve's soft ones gazing back.

"See? What did I tell you, Munson?"
