This isn't funny.

This has to be some sort of sick joke.

Someone's messing with me.

Because my new friend Scott just introduced me to a man that died twelve years ago.

Maybe he's a replacement? An android, constructed so that the circus owner didn't have to find an actual replacement.

I know the circus carried on after we left. I know the circus owner has been trying desperately to find us for these twelve long years.

'Circus owner'.

I haven't thought about him in years.

I don't want to.

Same with the android who was stood in front of me.

It's...

Oli?

It's not Oli.

I can see the points where his robotic joints join together. I can see the odd little marking next to his eye that's a trademark of the man who made the replacement for Sausage.

He won't know who I am- he was constructed after we left.

But maybe that's for the best.

Although, for a moment, I did think my best friend was back. I thought, by some miracle, the boy I'd seen get shot in front of me, the boy I'd grown up with, was still alive.

But I know that isn't the case.

I just- have to be cautious for now. I haven't mentioned the circus to anybody so far.

Besides, he's developed enough of a personality and a mind of his own to escape the circus, right?

Maybe he's just like m̶y̶ ̶O̶l̶i̶ the Oli I grew up with.

But I have no way of knowing right now.

I just have to befriend him and see.
