Hey everyone,
it's been a while - almost a month - since my last chapter. And in the process of writing it, I hit a writer's block. I had the chapter all planned up, but as I began to write, it just didn't feel right. And to be honest, that is the general feeling I've had lately, that this story just doesn't feel right for me. Something's off.
That's why I'm announcing to you today, that this story sadly won't continue anymore. Not in the near future anyway. I hope you understand that I can't continue with something I no longer see a reason with, as I know this will probably irritate some, and for that, I'm sorry.
Let it be clear that I still adore Charles and Max's stories, which is why I have a couple of new ideas in my head, which I am presently trying to convert to a story. To avoid my new story to end up like BITTERSWEET, I will spend some more time focussing on the plot and the characters and their relations before I write it. I hope this will mean that a full story will eventually stand, and I think I wanna aim for the new story to have a regular update-pattern with a chapter releasing Wednesdays and Sundays.
These past few weeks I've also worked on becoming better at writing dialogue, which was also one of the things, which made me feel unsure about BITTERSWEET. All of this to make sure that my next story about Charles and Max will be more enthralling to you, because you are still the reason, why I haven't abandoned writing. So, thanks!<3
On a personal note, this took a hit to me as well, because this story was my first ever of the sort, so that just put me out a little bit. But that's a part of the progress of becoming a writer (not like a professional writer or anything, but still).
So again, thank you so much for following along with BITTERSWEET, and I hope to see you - hopefully - next Wednesday, when I will try and aim for the publishing of the first chapter of my new story.
Love,
Robert
