Third Person Pov 

It had been a few days and david and angela had been making progress. Angela was genuinely trying to be a good mother and earn her sons forgiveness. Even though david still hasn't fully forgiven and probably won't anytime soon he was still happy. It felt nice to see her change for the better. 

David was happy to see his mother and father were starting to get along to. Well they still had their fights but oh well baby steps. David had spent more time focusing on his music and spent plenty of time with darrian, jay and chris. He however had also been noticing something very off. 

He noticed the change between his father and doug. Doug was over way more often now and he couldn't help but notice the large amount of time they were starting to spend together. When his father had a meeting he would always tale doug with him. David remembers his father saying they had a fight. 

But yet here they were being closer than they usually were. He also noticed his father had been working a lot more lately always going to meetings but would always take doug with him. David didn't want to overthink it but for some reason he felt like more was going on. Kevin was in the kitchen cleaning. 

David laughed as he listened to his father sing in the kitchen his dad had been a good mood lately he figured it was because everything was well at work. Then later that day he met up with darrian to write some music. They took a break and david brought up how happy his father had been. 

"Don't you get it?" Jay asks. "Get what?" David asks confused. "He's been really happy lately always going to 'meetings' he's clearly seeing somebody" Jay says. "He does have a point" Chris says. "Wow i didn't think about that" David says. "I mean we don't know that for sure" Darrian says. 

"Honestly i wouldn't mind my father dating maybe it would get him to stop drowning himself in work and worrying about me so much" David says with a laugh. They ended up going back to writing music but david for some reason couldn't get the thought of his father seeing someone out of his mind. 

'When would he have the time? He's always with doug" David thinks to himself before his eyes widened in shock. How different they've been acting the 'fight' and how happy his father had been it all made sense. 

Looks like david's caught on what ya'll think bout to happen
