A/N

Hiya guys. So, a little spoiler here. There is some smut in this chapter. If you are uncomfortable with that then when you see the three *** you can skip to when you see the next ***. It is only one scene of smut, however there is a major plot point in the middle of it, so there will be two sets of ***. Same rules apply, skip when you see the first one, read up to the next one and then skip from there. The chapter will continue after that without you missing anything.

Hope you enjoy the chapter, it is my favourite so far! xoxo

My mother was no where to be seen the next morning, and her bed cold. She wasn't at home when I got back last night, and I hadn't heard her come in at any point of the night. This happened more often then not when she was in an episode, she wouldn't come home or even speak to me. She barely spoke to anyone during that time to be perfectly honest, but it was easier to deal with as she kept herself buried in her work.

As soon as I was awake, my mind flew instantly to Neteyam, my body practically yearning for his touch as we had barely spoken in the last 24 hours. I was scared for our future. After my conversation with Aonung last night, I knew realistically that there was going to be nothing that we could do to stop the events in my future from happening. All I wanted to do between now and then was fall deeply in love with the boy and forget about everything. Forget about the world around us, the horrors and expectations. Forget that things were expected of us and just be happy for once.

I craved the feeling of happiness the most. And Neteyam made me the happiest.

"Morning!" Tsireya's sweet voice calls into the Marui Pod, her body coming into view a moment later. Her eyes scan the pod for me, and when they finally land on me in my bed she laughs. "Come on, out of bed sleepyhead!" She shouts, skipping over to me and jumping onto my body. She lays on top of me, putting her entire weight onto mine as she giggles.

"Why are you so cheery?" I mumble groggily, taking another bite from my fruit platter beside me. Tsireya pops her elbows under my armpits and leans her head on her hands, grinning at me. "No reason, just had a good night's sleep!" She wriggles on top of me, putting her weight onto different parts of my body which makes me squirm beneath her. "A Lo'ak filled sleep then no doubt." I tease, watching as she shrugs. "Mayyybeeeeee. It was a good dream though I can't lie..." She mumbles, thinking to herself.

I watch her and laugh, amused by how smitten she was with Lo'ak. "You two actually talked about it yet?" I ask, moving my head so there was a little space between us. She vibrates her lips together, letting out a raspberry like noise before responding, "Nope. But we don't really need to. You and Neteyam have made it very clear to the pair of us how the other feels. So it's just something unspoken between us. We aren't going to rush things- Unlike you two!" She jabs, winding me up.

Seriously, where on earth did she find all this excitement this early in the morning.

"Hey!" I laugh, feigning offence. "It's not that we wanted to rush things, it's just the way Eywa wanted it." I say, pulling my lips together with a smile. Tsireya rolls her eyes and climbs off of me, sitting down on the floor beside my bed. She pokes me in the ribs, "Come on. Get up, we got lessons to teach!" Reya continually jabs me in the side, making me laugh at how much it tickled.

"Mmmmm, noooo. Bed nice and warm. Outside not so nice, not so warm..." I pout, frowning like a child.

"Actually outside quite warm," A deep, husky voice says from the doorway, pulling both Tsireya and my attention to who had joined us. Lo'ak and Neteyam leant against the doorway, watching the two of us playfully argue. "You two seem joyful." Lo'ak says, looking at me with a chuckle. I stick my tongue out at him childishly, "She's cheery. I'm not so much." I retort, taking a hand out to poke Reya in the ribs this time.
