Aurora Bianchi is the new Public relations and media manager for Scuderia Ferrari. She soon meets Carlos Sainz and feels incredibly attracted to him, but she's scared of falling in love. Would time help her? Or would time take her only chance away...
Seven in the morning and everybody is already walking in the paddock, the 2021 pre-season tasting is about to begin.
-Rory!- a male voice shouted, forcing Aurora to take her headphones off and turn around with an annoyed face
-My favorite pilot!- she happily screamed as soon as she saw him
-It's nice to see you again.- he said while they hugged
-Likewise, are you ready to be a champion this season?- she joked
-Of course, I am. Are you excited to be taking pictures of me?- he joked while they walked toward Ferrari boxes.
-Sorry to break it to you. l but I will no longer be taking photos of you.-
-What?-
-Say hi, to Ferrari's new pr & media manager.-
-Does that mean you are like the boss now?-
-At the paddock, yes I am.-
-I'm so happy for you, you totally deserve it.-
-Still, I'll be the one bothering you about giving good answers to the press.- she joked and as they were entering Ferrari's boxes she heard her name.
-Bianchi! We need you at the conference room in five.-
-I'll be there.- she replied
-Well, you better get going. Will I see you later?- Charles asked and she nodded before walking towards the offices.
Before entering the conference room, she went for a coffee and knocked on the door.
-Good morning.- she said when she entered the room and found an empty chair at the long table.
-Good morning everyone, as you know the 2021 season is about to begin and this year Ferrari welcomes a new face. Carlos, we are so happy to have you with us and excited about what's yet to come.- Mattia said and Carlos nodded with a smile.
-Bianchi, I don't know if you want to introduce yourself given that last year you were still an apprentice and you weren't there to make the public announcement of Carlos's signing.- Mattia added
-Thanks Mattia, as you said, last year I was an apprentice and mostly worked here at the paddock, but this year came with a promotion and I'm now the public relationship and media manager for the Scuderia. It's nice to meet you, Carlos, you did an excellent job at McLaren and I'm sure you're going to do even better with us.-
-Thanks, it is nice to meet you.-
-All right, now that the pre-season is starting. Would you need Carlos a lot?- a man sitting beside Carlos asked
-Right, thanks for asking, I'm sorry what's your name?- she asked feeling nervous
-Sorry, I'm Carlos, but everyone calls me Caco. I'm only asking because I'm Carlos's manager.- he explained
-And my cousin.- Carlos added
-That explains everything. Well, Caco, I'm going to need Sainz and Leclerc as much as possible. The last couple of years, we weren't as fan close as we wanted and both of our drivers are beloved by the fans so we have to take advantage of that.-
-I understand, now do you have like a plan or an agenda you can share with us?- Caco asked
-I do, but I would love to share it when Leclerc joins us.- just as she said that Charles entered the room.
-No need to keep crying Rory, I'm here.- Charles said laughing and sat beside her after hugging her. Caco could sense Carlos tensed up but relaxed as soon as the cute girl put Charles in his place.
