Chapter 24: Miss something I never had

Carlos and Aurora had been peacefully talking for a couple of minutes, neither one of them wanting to talk about the accident, but shortly after Charles nocked on the door.

-Hey! You are awake.- the monegasque said with a smile

-I wasn't planning on letting you drive my car.- she joked and he walked over to her to hug her.

-You scared me, a lot.-

-I'm sorry Charlie it wasn't my intention.- she whispered

-I know, did you noticed her room number?- he asked Carlos and the spanish laughed while nodding

-What? What is it?- she asked confused

-It's funny because it's 55.- Charles said with a smirk and the three of them laughed.

-Guys, shouldn't you be at the paddock, in interviews?- she asked when she saw the time

-Paige told me to relax, she was going to handle everything.- Charles explained

-Plus, I'm not planning on leaving your side at all.- Carlos added

-Can one of you call Aldo, I need to ask him something.- she asked and they looked at her confused but Charles walked out of the room.

-You wanted to see me?- Aldo asked when he entered the room, followed by Charles and Alessio.

-Could you guys leave me alone just with my brothers?- she asked with her head down, Carlos wanted to protest but Charles stopped him.

-Call us when you finish.- Charles said and both drivers walked out of the room.

-Roro, what's wrong? Does something hurt?- Alessio asked as soon as his sister started crying.

-What happened? How bad is it?- she asked

-Well, a drunk driver hit you when you where walking out of that store, you broke a couple of bones and...- Aldo took a second to continue, he wasn't quite sure how to say it but his sister interrupted him

-I lost the baby.- she didn't ask, she knew the answer. Still, Aldo nodded.

-You were pregnant?- Alessio asked confused

-I found out the day we arrived in Italy. I went out today to buy the surprise for Carlos. I wanted to tell him after the race.- she confessed

-We are so sorry Roro.- Aldo said with a weak smile

-It's ok, I mean how could you miss something that I never had.-

-Roro, don't do that. It's fair to be sad and angry, that baby was yours and it will always be your first baby.- Aldo said and she cried even harder

-Can you promise me that we will never talk about this again? No one can know, especially Carlos.- she explained

-Aurora, he deserves to know.- Alessio said

-Promise me!-

-I promise, only if you promise me you will tell him whenever you feel ready to.- Alessio said

-Ale.- she whispered

-Promise me that.- he said

-I promise.-

-Ok, I promise too.- Alessio said with a sad smile

-We'll go so he can come back inside.- Aldo said before standing up

-NO! Don't leave me.- she whispered

-Can I come in?- their mother said at the door

-Roro?- Aldo asked and she nodded

-Take care of her.- Alessio whispered to his mother

-Do you want to tell me what where you doing at a baby store?- her mom asked
