Chapter 16: Fight

Aurora was so close to having a panic attack, Carlos noticed but he was too angry to just leave and let Daniele win.

-Excuse me?- Carlos asked

-You heard me, she knows me and I know every freckle on her body.- the Italian guy grinned

-Mate, I think is best if you leave.- Lando said

-What? You can't defend yourself?- he asked Carlos

-I'm not planning on fighting you.- Carlos replied, trying to calm down.

-Rory, how long have you been dating?- Daniele asked

-Three months.- she nervously replied

-Wow, Rory, three months and he hasn't seen you naked. You used to be more of a slut.- Daniele joked but just as he finished his sentence, he felt a fist in his face.

-Oh my god.- the girls at the table screamed

-You won't talk like that of her, ever again, understood?- he kept hitting him while talking

-Charles, just leave him alone!- Carlos screamed

-You don't get to be an asshole and walk out of here untouched.- the Monegasque kept saying

-Charles!- Rory screamed

-No, Rory. He doesn't get to hurt you and still comes here feeling like the better man. He needs to get in his tiny brain that he can't hurt my best friend ever again.- he said, but just then Pierre pulled him apart from Daniele.

-Is he unconscious?- Checo asked almost laughing

-Fuck, I knew this wasn't a good idea.- someone said

-Did you invite him? Why?- Aurora asked

-I thought maybe he could help me.- Antonio said

-With what?- Carlos asked, now fully hugging Aurora, trying to protect her from what had already happened.

-To break up you guys.- the Italian confessed

-I thought we were friends.- the girl said on the verge of tears.

-You know I never thought of you like my friend, but back then, your brother would have killed me.-

-Lando, I'm sorry about all of this. I need to go.- Aurora said, ignoring the Italian man standing in front of her.

-Of course, let me walk you guys out.- he said

-I'm sorry I hit him.- Charles whispered in Aurora's ear

When Carlos and Aurora were sitting in his car, he turned around and took her face in his hands.

-Are you ok?- he whispered

-I'm sorry.-

-It just, I'm ashamed and I don't want you to believe what he said.- she said now crying

-Oh, Ror. I don't believe a single thing he said. You are everything to me and that's not changing.-
