The criminal was afraid of what happened to his friend.
"I only need one of you alive." Amy said coldly as she checked the magazine, "Now, tell me the codes to the files, or we'll do it the hard way."
"L-Like... I'll tell you..." He said, trying to keep a brave face. Amy shot his leg, making him scream in pain, making Cream even more afraid.
"Tell me, what are the codes." Amy ordered, but with no response, she shot his other leg. "NOW TALK!!"
"Alright, my friend had a booklet of all the codes!" Amy shot his arm.
"I've checked already, don't lie to me...." Amy ordered him.
"A-Alright...." He gave all the codes as Amy plugged in the USB, she noticed one of the files looked off, so she dragged the chair with him and placed him in front of the computer.
"Tell me which ones are dangerous, if I hear a hint of lying, I'll torture you more." He nodded and told her any files are dangerous. "Good, now..." Amy took out her pistol and aim it at him, "Time to claim another bounty."
"Amy, stop!" Cream flew out of the vent and get between them while crying. "Please... no more..... this isn't you...!"
"Cream.... get out of the way..." Amy told her old friend.
"WHERE'S THE AMY I KNOW?! I WANT HER BACK!!" Cream cried out with mix emotions.
"Cream.... I don't want to hurt you..." Amy said while her arm is shaking while a tear goes down her cheek, seeing how afraid Cream is. Sonic's team came through the door to see what's happening and was shocked on what's going on.
"Amy.... did you... do this?" Sonic asked. The criminal was able to break free and try to grab Cream, but Amy quickly pushes her away and shot him in the chest, immediately killing him.
"Amy.... what did Vierno taught you...?" Shadow asked.
"He taught me enough that world can't change with criminals like them around. If they stay alive, they'll kill more innocent people." Amy told everyone.
"But killing isn't an-" Sonic got interrupted by Amy snapping, "You don't have any to say! All of these years, you let him live, you can't expect him to change after every defeat!"
"Amy, you don't understand..." Silver said.
"Little Planet, Dark Gaia, EVEN ZOMBOTS!!" Amy told them. "How many 'defeats' will he stopped? It's been my entire childhood that Eggman's only 'thing' is conquering the world. The only way to make him consider defeat is to put a bullet through his egghead."
"We've found the core." Blaze stated though her comms.
"Blaze, you can just light up the core, it should overheat enough to explode. That's the weakness." Amy explained to her.
"Thanks, I'll give it a try." Blaze thanked.
"Amy, I checked all the bunkers and killed any bounty." Vierno stated through her separate comm
"Already done here also. See you soon." Amy told him and said to everyone with a cold tone. "I'm ending all these criminals before they cause more harm. And don't try to stop me...." Amy left while purposefully bumped into Sonic, pushing him a bit. They heard Cream sobbing.
"Amy...." Cream sobbed. They all looked at her with sadness, knowing she lost an important childhood friend. But most of them, Sonic. After the mission, everyone returned to base, and he went to his room and sat on his bed, thinking about what had happened. The blue blur goes under his bed to take out a red box. He opens it to reveal Amy's Piko Piko Hammer....

Sonic is running though Green Hill, trying to look for Amy.
"I have to apologize to her, I shouldn't have snapped at her....." Sonic thought to himself. He ran and found Amy's Hammer at the waterfall. "Amy never left without this..." Sonic try to keep on looking for Amy, trying to find her. "Amy has to be here somewhere.... I have to keep looking..."

Sonic started to cry, thinking more on what is going on.
"What have I done....? Maybe if I be honest with her from the start..... maybe she'll won't be like this...." Sonic thoughted as he cried even more. Thinking on what times he had with Amy. "I don't want you to change... just come back to us...." What he didn't know, that a certain fox was watching him through the vents with a camera.
