-MYM- (Prologue)

"Aga! What are you doing here?" She asked her fiancé when she found him on her hotel room's door.

They are getting married tomorrow afternoon and they are currently checked-in at Manila Hotel where their reception is going to take place.

Having a celebrity status meant they'll have a big wedding at Manila Cathedral, the media even dubbed their union "The Wedding of the Year."

Her monicker as the Broadway Diva, and Aga as the "Pambansang Heartthrob" of the Philippine cinema made their wedding even more prestige.

Their guest are the countries biggest names, both in politics, media and showbiz.

Their wedding is going to be aired on the National Television via ABS-CBN.

She would have been happy, but she's not.

"Aren't you going to let me in?" Aga asked and she opened the door wider to make room for him to enter.

"Ags, you know we are not allowed to see each other tonight right?" She said as Aga hugged her lightly and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"That's just old saying babes, it's not real." He began a habit of calling her "babes" since they made their movie "Sana Maulit Muli" five years ago.

"Do you need something?" She sweetly asked.

"I'll sleep here." He said at inakay siya nito pa punta sa kama.

She suddenly felt nervous..

"C'mon! Hop-in!" Aya nito ng hindi siya kumibo mula sa kinakatayuan niya.

"Aga." She protested but he already pulled her to bed.

"What? Ngayon ka pa ba mahihiya na maka tabi ako sa kama? You are already bearing our child Lea." He said as he gently caressed her stomach.

She's about to protest but he already caught her lips with his.

And as usual, she got drunk on his kisses, the next thing she knew he's already removing her robe.

Para naman siyang natauhan when he felt his hand gently massaging her left boob, she felt his warm hand on her skin.

"Aga, stop!" Pagsaway pa niya dito.

"Why? Is it wrong to make love with my fiancé? He teased as he turn his attention on peppering her neck with wet kisses.

"We can do this naman after the wedding babes." She said in a sweet tone, hoping that Aga will stop, but he didn't.

"But I need you now." He replied and kissed her again.

She knew what will happen if they continue this but she couldn't control her feelings anymore.

A few moments more and they are both naked, when Aga suddenly entered her, she tried her best not to show that she's hurting.

"You okay? I'm not hurting the baby am I?" He asked in concern.

And she just shook her head. She doesn't trust her voice to speak as it really hurts down there.

She gasped when Aga continue to move on top of her. She suppressed her cries until she felt that the pain slowly fades away.

"You're so tight babes!" He moaned as he moved in faster rhythm, indicating that he is now near..

After a few more thrust, they came together.

"Are you happy now Lea?" Aga suddenly said in a cold voice.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Magsisinungaling ka pa din ba? I thought Mikee was lying when she told me that you are not really pregnant! Na pinipikot mo lang ako. I gave you the benefit of the doubt Lea!" May pait ang tinig na saad nito and all she can do is cry.

"I trusted you! You had the chance to tell me earlier, yet you still lied! You were a virgin! Ibig sabihin hindi totoong may nangyari sa atin nung gabing yun at lalong hindi ka naman buntis!" Galit na sigaw nito at tumayo sa kama upang mag bihis.

"I'm so-sorry!" That's the only thing she can say when she found her voice again.

"Bakit mo ginawa yun Lea? Anong pumasok sa kukote mo para lokohin mo ako ng ganito? Ano bang kasalanan ko sa'yo?" Umiiyak na ding sumbat ni Aga.

"Da-dahil mahal kita Aga, mahal na mahal kita." Aniya at sinubukang hawakan ang kamay nito ngunit agad din namang iniiwas yun ni Aga.

"Mahal? Bakit ngayon lang Lea? Years ago, you told me not to court you, do you even have the slightest idea how much that hurt? To be rejected by someone I love? You told me that we should just stay friends kaya sinunod kita Lea! Kahit masakit, kasi alam kong hanggang dun lang ako." He said at lalo naman siyang napa iyak.

Was it really her fault na hindi niya ipinaglaban ang feelings niya dito noon?

"I moved-on Lea. Naging masaya ako that I still get to keep you as a friend, sabi ko sa sarili ko--- mas mabuti na siguro to, at least, I'll get to keep you forever. Sinubukan kong magmahal ng iba and I succeeded, pero anong ginawa mo? Sinira mo ulit! Kinuha mo ako sa taong nagturo ulit sa akin kung paano magmahal Lea."

"I'm sorry! Hindi ko naman sinasadya Aga, pero maniwala ka, nagawa ko lang yun kasi mahal kita."

"Siguro nga mahal mo ako Lea, pero mali ang pagmamahal mo, dahil ang pagmamahal, hindi dapat nagsisinungaling and you did just that Lea! You lied!"

She saw him walking towards the door at hinabol niya ito.

"Papakasalan mo pa din naman ako diba babes? I'm sorry! Please, tell me you'll still marry me!" Pakiusap niya dito.

Aga faced her and saw her tears, he wiped her tears and said :

"Ewan ko Lea, hindi na ako sigurado kung tama bang ituloy pa natin to. We can't start a relationship, let alone marriage that are built on lies." He said as he walked out the door and just before he close the door she called her again.

"Maghihintay pa din ako sa'yo bukas Aga."

He never came.

"Lea, anak umuwi na tayo. Nakakahiya na sa mga press! Hindi na dadating si Aga." Her Mom told her as they sat inside her bridal car.

They've been waiting for half an hour, but Aga didn't show-up.

She knew this is going to be a national scandal but she doesn't care anymore.
She just silently cried.

Someone knocked on the window of the car and her Mom opened it.

"Ma'am, may nag pa-pa abot po." A teenage boy said at iniabot sa kanya ang isang maliit ng kahon at isang sulat.

"Nasaan yung nagbigay sa'yo nito?" She asked and the teenager just shrug his shoulder and ran away.

Nanginginig ang kamay na binuksan niya ang kahon. Inside is a silver necklace with a customized intertwined LA pendant adorned with small diamonds.

She clutched it in her chest, she knew who it was from. She then opened the letter.

Lea,

I'm sorry too.

Aga.

In just three words, he ended it.
