Mikey led Raph and Cuphead to the living room.
Raph: What's this about Mugman getting over stage fright?
Mikey: You'll see.
Raph and Cuphead sat down on the couch and Mugman stood behind the tv in front of everyone.
April: You ready, Mugs?
Mugman: I.....I don't know.....
April: You can do this. I believe in you.
Mugman: Okay....here goes nothing....
Mugman was about to say something in front of the microphone but he froze.
Donnie: Um....are you gonna say something or what?
Cuphead: They don't understand.....
April: Mugs? Are you okay?
Donnie: Why isn't he saying anything?
April: Um....Mugman. Please say something.
Mugman: I....I....
Donnie: Get on with it already! Just spit it out!
Mugman ran out of the living room.
Donnie: Oh, come on! All of this for nothing.
Raph: Donnie, that's enough.
Donnie: Can he just get over his stage fright already?
Cuphead: Alright, enough!
Everyone went silent and Cuphead looks at April.
Cuphead: What do you think you were doing?
April: Helping him getting over his stage fright.
Cuphead: Not like this.....
Raph: Cuphead....please calm down....
Cuphead: (inhales and exhales)
Cuphead turns to Raph.
Cuphead: Sorry.....it's just....he didn't used to be like this.....
Raph: What do you mean? He hasn't had stage fright in the past?
Cuphead: Yeah....he used to like being on stage.....until.....
(Flashback to 7 years ago)
Young Mugman: Hey, Cups! You ready for the play tonight?
Young Cuphead: You know it! I'm so excited!
Young Mugman: I can't believe I got the lead role in the play!
Young Cuphead: You deserved it, lil bro! Even though I only have a few lines, I can still watch you perform!
Young Mugman: Heck yeah!
Past Elder Kettle: You boys ready to go?
Young Cuphead and Mugman: Yeah!

At the theater, past Elder Kettle sat in the middle of the crowd. Behind the curtains, the young cups got ready to perform.
Young Cuphead: Ready, bro?
Young Mugman: Ready.
The curtains opened and the play begins. Young Mugman opened his mouth....but no words came out.
The whole audience went silent....
Until.....
???: Hey, that stupid mug can't even remember his lines! Get on with it already!
