Mikey and Leo ran up to the surface, where the apocalypse is happening.
Mikey: You know who took Mugman?
Leo: Yeah, and it's an enemy of Cuphead's and Mugman's. And Chalice's as well.....was there a horn in Cuphead's chest before he died?
Mikey: Yeah, and I pulled it out. I didn't take a good look at it, though. I still have it.
Mikey pulled out something from his jacket pocket to reveal and gold horn.
Leo: That's what stabbed him?
Mikey: Yeah.....and it was big enough to kill him.....
Leo: Oh, my god....Com'n. We need to go rescue Mugman. He needs us.
~
Meanwhile......
Mugman: Ugh....what happened?
Then, Mugman finds himself in chains.
Mugman: Huh?!
Mugman struggles to free himself but the chains only tighten.
Mugman: OW!
???: I warned ya.....the chains will only get tighter....the more you struggle, the tighter the chains become.
Mugman: W-who are you?
Then, he saw that the person carrying a pitchfork.
Mugman: ?! N-no.....it can't be....
???: Surprise, Mugman.
Mugman: You!
Devil: Miss me? Admit it, you missed me.
Mugman: Hardly. You almost killed my friend and my brother. And me.
Devil: Oh?
Mugman: Don't play dumb! I was there!
Devil: Well....I have something to confess. Remember that night in the alleyway?
Mugman: Hardly.
Devil: I was the one who attacked your beloved brother.
Mugman: !! N-no....it can't be.....you got to be joking!!
Devil: Oh-ho-ho....it's not a joke, boy. You see....when I attacked your brother, he knocked the pitchfork out of my hands....and I wasn't gonna let him get away.....so....I used one of my horns to stab him. And when I heard someone coming my way.....I left. You and your blue turtle friend didn't suspect a thing.
Mugman: Y-you.....
Mugman looks down, tears threatening to spill.
Mugman: You killed him.....
Devil: I finally got rid of that cup and that stupid chalice killed herself to save your blue turtle friend. You have no one else now.....you're all alone.
Mugman: You.....
Mugman raises his head and faces Devil angrily, tears streaming down his face.
Mugman: YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!! HOW COULD YOU?!!?! YO-
Then, the chains got even tighter around the little mug.
Mugman: AHHHH!!!

Meanwhile, with Leo and Mikey.....
Leo: This must be the place.
Mikey: Let's go rescue our friend.
~
Later, Leo and Mikey peered through the rooftop.
Mikey: (whispers) There he is.
